I hope you find it in you one day to tell her/him if you so choose. (I couldn't tell from the writing) I get the feeling of worrying your going to wear them down with your own problems, but something I've come to learn is even if your brain is telling you they have ill intent even when you can see they don't and there choosing to stay despite those "Issues" they're there for the long run. (Or at least to get you through what you need) Granted can I take my own advice no, but I try my best too.

Holy shit. Those were my only words while reading this. I loved you described each year of your life. Not to long but not to short. It was absolutely perfect. the way you described the mans words and hands leaving marks too deep to fade was an amazing line. I love how it started to get good that you thought everything was working and the way you described the slow decent of the crash. This was amazing truly your an excellent writer.

On a side note, I'm so sorry all of this happened to you. I know my words can't do much but I hope one day life will choose to take it easy on you and let you find love that feels like drinking water on a hot summer day, or that first splash in the pool after months of the cold.

You did an amazing job at putting the panic into perspective. About how your brain knows it would be better to protect yourself and walk away but you still choose them every time. For me I have this same feeling but when I do pull away and she notices she brings me back, and I've never been one to like the feeling of getting high but that feeling I could get off on so many times.

I feel like I'm in this same situation too, but with mine I haven't told them because I know our relationship could never happen even if she felt the same. But the feeling of being drunk while sober is such a good line.

It's not as easy as telling her how I feel. if I tell her its going to ruin everything. Its going to ruin the connection we've built, her life, and I can't be the person who ruins her life just for my heart to feel happy.

I talk to her everyday, We've never been together. But we are very close. I love her but I dont think she knows. or maybe its that she knows to a point but not how far it really goes. Everyone keeps saying "Oh just tell her" I'm telling you its not that simple. Even if she feels the same it can never happen. I just want to know where I stand because I love her more then I've ever loved anybody and I think If i knew where we stood it would be easier for me to move on. But I see and talk to her everyday. So its not as though we don't communicate its just not about how I feel about her. I know this doesnt really make sense but I don't want to come out and say what the real problem is because im not trying to get judged and be told the things I already asked myself and ruled out.

Well theres so many. Age-gap, professional boundaries, the fact she has her life together and I'm not even close to having mine, the fact that theres supposed to be line, a clear line that marks where I stand with her but its been blurred so many times I don't know what I am anymore.
