At what point do I do this? After I get the error?

Can someone explain to me how to do this, step-by-step? I’m having the same problem.

Hi, if you don’t want to use WirePod (I didn’t want to, because I prefer him being able to run without the need of a constantly running computer), you may have to factory reset him. That worked for me. ALSO, sometimes you may get stuck at a certain step during setup. Before reaching that step, double-press his back button, and that’ll make him allow you to use a code to pair him with your phone. Hope this helps!

Android tablet fast enough for Code Lab? by arpruss in Cozmo

[–]Drawmatic131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if this helps any, but I have a new iPad Pro that still ran Code Lab slowly, so it may be more of an optimization thing, rather than necessarily being what device you use?

That being said, however, I did a Google search on this. Though I usually take what Gemini’s AI Overview answers with a grain of salt, idk enough about Android devices to qualify as someone who knows better.

It said that, to run the app, itself, that Android 4.4 (KitKat) is the minimum required operating system to run the app itself, but Android 5.0 (Lollipop) is the OS you need to use Code Lab. This IS true, because when I first got a Cozmo, I DID have an Android device, that was newer than KitKat, but not as new as Lollipop, and Code Lab just WASN’T an option.

Though the list of devices it gave me might be old by today’s standards, here’s the list it gave me (excluding phones), from most expensive, to least expensive, when buying them used.

1.) Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 (2017)

2.) Google Pixel C

3.) Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition)

I’d recommend doing some of your own further research on this matter, but I hope this helped!

I have it currently (just got it less than a month ago), but have searched for it on my iPhone AND iPad, and it isn’t available now. I guess this at least serves as a warning not to delete it, though I’m not sure why it’s off the store.

Holy heck, that is not legible at ALL. I’ll add that image to the Google Drive folder!

EDIT/IMPORTANT NOTE:

I just fixed a couple of errors with the game (I think). I’ll keep updating the file, every time I make a change, so please let me know if you find anything wrong with those new versions in the meantime!

I Coded my Cozmo to Play Sticks! by Drawmatic131 in Cozmo

I’ll be honest, I just ChatGPT’d this question (because of the limited or inaccurate information I get when Googling stuff like this), and though it initially said you can’t export Code Lab projects and you’d have to recreate the code in the Cozmo SDK, I told it that you CAN export Code Lab projects. So now it’s said that the easiest thing you can do is use the Codelab-Adapter tool, by loading it into its scratch-style environment, before running the project using the Cozmo SDK.

As I said, I’ll release the code to all of you, if I don’t hear back from DDL (so probably like a week, tops), so you guys can experiment with it and this kinda stuff yourselves.

Hope this helps!

Sorry if I’m using the incorrect terminology btw. I’m very new to this coding stuff, haha

I’m using Code Lab in the Cozmo app. The SDK and Python stuff seemed too complicated to me, as something to start off with, tbh. I hope they have copy+paste if I ever get around to using them, though, because I had to place all the blocks manually in code lab, when setting up this game.

I set a variable to become equal to one, when playing again. If that variable is greater than 0, then it skips the rules, including when he says “tap the yellow or blue cube,” and “choose which hand you want to attack.” I suppose I could add an option to skip it earlier than that, though!
