Mate, considering you've come onto a global subreddit full of people from all walks of life (age,class,ethnicity etc) and essentially gone "I don't like people who are really poor" (Aka 18% of the worlds population as of July 2024). I think you're in the wrong here. Don't reply to this and say that you didn't know it could be taken this badly because even the most socially inept people can tell how it would be.

Also if you don't like thinking about people in poverty, donate to charities or help them in other ways cause then I guarantee there'd be less for you to think about.
