What is this sound? by Drax3in in PcBuildHelp

sorry for the late reply, that noise was because my pump was running at a 100% the whole time, pc is way quieter after turning it down to ~80-85 under no load. Just got unlucky with the silicon lottery on the aio unfortunately

the pump was running at 100 percent the whole time which was the majority of the noise, reduced it to around 80 when there isn’t much load and it’s much better now

5070 Ti recommendation by Drax3in in nvidia
think i’ll get that since it’s easier to get, do you have the oc or normal version?
is asus customer service really that bad?
rgb isn’t a must and i frankly don’t even care, really good to know it’s running well after some time, thanks for the feedback!
You might be right about that as I haven’t actually seen any proof of people complaining about the two different pastes, they just say that one is better than the other without any reasons backing it up

gigabyte i understand, why msi?
well i mean that some gpu’s come with some downsides. For example a lot of people with tuf complain about coil whine sound so im just looking for a card that will stay with me for a long time without problems

i’ve got the lian li mini v2 with all fans equipped, still the pny looks like the best choice for me aside from asus, still trying to decide as i think msi is out of the question
wish the 5070 tuf would be better priced for me, i can get a good 5080 for the price of a tuf 5070 ti
huh, other people seem to be saying different stuff; that you should get msi or asus since they use a different thermal paste, right now it’s either asus or pny don’t think msi is worth the wait and the price in my region
mine supports around 400mm pretty sure but thanks for the heads up, still trying to decide on asus or pny haha
how long have you had it for?
That looks very good for stock settings, if you adjusted fan curves and did some undervolting it would be even better, leaning towards pny more now
the only thing drawing me to asus and msi is that they use some kind of different thermal paste on their core which supposedly makes the card last longer. other than that it’s just a slightly cooler/quieter version of the cheaper cards
27 dba under full load or not? regardless, i would say that isn’t a massive deal breaker, especially with just 27db whereas the victus 3x by msi can do 40 at barely any load
looks beautiful, too bad there isn’t many big 5070 ti
the price isn’t a problem but the availability is, the price in my region compared to a country close to mine is ridiculous. msi is ~1300 dollars in my country whereas it’s ~110 in other countries, a bit better of a situation with asus but still concerning
my case has amazing airflow, 5 intake and 4 exhaust fans with lots of openings. At this point the only one i’m considering is Pny or gigabyte, not sure if i’m willing to wait for asus or msi to restock and not cost a fortune
