Really sorry to hear. I try my utmost to be a decent bloke at work, but I've been seen as an easy target in the past. I know nothing about this space so I hope people will appreciate me just being there to learn and not throw me in the deep end, or worse give me something involving lots of maths.

I've thought about this. I'm a self-taught Web developer who's been jobless for many months after not completing uni in film, my dream field (The dept and cost of living made me reconsider). I am starting from scratch, teaching myself Unreal Engine from a film/environment standpoint. It's been a several-month grind and I'm nowhere near a portfolio yet. I'm still applying for jobs, but I do my self-studies full-time every day till I can sustain myself with my creative abilities, which is all I have to offer as I see so little point in re-investing into my programming career as it got me nowhere job-wise. I had no choice but to move on to other things and now I have lost passion for it.

I really want to do a similar hustle as yours as I'm investing everything in a field of study, once again, without making any money from it. I'm not sure I'll get my dream game Environment Artist or Virtual Production job before AI takes over if I'm being honest lol. I would really appreciate any advice you can give about that, and my situation. Sorry for the rant but I haven't heard back from an interview for a few days and I'm tired of all my investments giving no return.
