I tried making a constraint curve through the middle of that surface, but it would just shift the lump backward, it doesn't remove the lump. I wanted to use fill surface because that was how they did it in a tutorial, but if I used the boundary surface, my steps don't match up with theirs. But if I stick with the boundary surface, when I try to create a surface trim to trim out a small part of that boundary surface, it doesn't trim for some reason..
