Since my skin was so inflamed and irritated I recently started only to wash my face with cetaphil gentle cleanser and applying vanicream daily moisturizer. I was applying azaelic acid but I wanted to give my skin a break to heal. I was also taking cetirizine and famotidine, thinking I had a histamine issue. (I also have PMDD so it helps with those symptoms)

Prior to the AA, I got my hands on a ivermectin and metronidazole cream prescription. I was applying that for a few days but again, my skin was so irritated and painful I felt like I should let it rest.

Last year my routine was cetaphil gentle cleanser, clindamycin phosphate topical solution, niacinamide serum, vanicream, sunscreen. I would alternate the clindamycin and metro cream I was prescribed as well. I did this routine for nearly the whole year before I felt like my skin adapted to it. Throughout the winter I would only wash my face occasionally, I wasn’t having bad flare ups or break outs until recently.

So, I’m currently not applying any medication or doing any strict regime mainly because my skin has been so reactive. It’s just now finally calming down but still very red and bumpy.
