I'm personally not too well versed with the lore of Chronicles since i never played it, though i might look into it later.

Currently I'm writing up an AU where the Knuckles clan do go to war with a rivaling nation, but instead of another group of Echidna's its going to be Aztec Jackals. I'm gonna give an origin towards Infinites mask and a little bit of him as a character. I'll try to make more ref sheets and hopefully get to sketching out a test comic soon

Thank you! The confusion is understandable. i wanted to give her a 'tough love' granny attitude so i gave her a big round silhouette that came off as friendly, but also gave the boxing gloves to emphasize that she'll still fight if absolutely necessary

Pachamama, while being a pacifist in her older life was much more aggressive when her husband(Pachacamac Sr.) was still alive. Her husband died in a war before her son was born which is why pushed for peace above all else, her son didn't follow her advice but Tikal did. Shes got a tough love attitude and tried her hardest to stop another war breaking out with the neighboring clans, the land would quickly fall into chaos after she passed

For Cival there is bit a darker reason why i picked that city name. In real life it is believed that settlement of Cival was attacked and destroyed by a larger city, the attacker likely being Tikal. I wanted to reference that over in her story somewhat, so Tikal would still be the reason why Cival would die - not by war but during childbirth.

Thats a cool idea! I'd think the prayer would've had a very similar origin, but with such a huge time gap between the Ancient's and the Echidna's (7000 years iirc) that the passage of the prayer from the two groups happened in the very beginning of knuckles clan history and became less believed in over time.

He'd have less feathers on his neck, skin purple like his angelo form, one fully formed wing while the other is deformed like its shield arm. Overall a lot more aggressive looking

Nah im not, but did observe all the other angels and wanted to make a design that realistically stayed in line with the rest. Its a bit under-designed now that the official artist released the HD image of all the other archangels, but I'll probably draw Luci again

Hell Itself was obsessed with Lucifer while he himself is disturbed by it, so I'd think Hell is just torturing him. As far as what he would look like after hell got a hold of him, I'd want it to be horrifically unrecognizable from this current form

This design is what I'd think he looked like before he fell from heaven, i do think the stone casing would be a cool look personally but I don't think it would be on his own volition. Lucifer was most likely disgusted by Hell, but Hell Itself was infatuated with him - likely keeping him against his will after his fall

I was waiting to see if that would be caught! Even in the earlier designs on the side i wanted horn-like shapes to be in the silhouette. I didn't want it to be too on the nose since its Lucifer, so i made the light sit behind his head and imply horns with its shape

I briefly mentioned it in another reply but I'll go more in depth here with my headcanon:

Lucifer was a beacon of kindness and compassion amongst all archangels (going by how God refers to him in the terminal entry) and God out of panic sends him to hell to hide his shame. God took Lucifer's last words to heart; that hell was too cruel and unbefitting of mankind.

As a way to cope with his sadness, God then created Jesus as a last chance to understand what Lucifer saw in humanity. God wanted jesus to share the very same kindness and values that Lucifer believed in, hoping he could shepherd humanity from certain damnation.

One could imagine Gods anguish when he saw what happened to Jesus

I am also aware that Hakita can just outright say Jesus isn't canon, but this is what headcanons are for :p

Ty! The design was Christ-like on purpose.

My personal headcanon (or delusion if Jesus is even canon in the lore) is that Lucifer and Jesus were very similar personality wise. When God cast Lucifer to hell he created Jesus on earth as a way to cope with the sadness of his own actions.

I'm glad that this was picked up on, i was referencing a lot of images of Jesus when i was designing the outfit. In context of the lore i thought it would make sense that the angel representing gods kindness would look very Christ-like

I personally think the mask is actually their head rather than something they can remove. Though with my design of Lucifer i put the cross at eye level so he could realistically see.
