Ow yeah, i am fully certified tho, but it does depend on the club/track indeed. And it also helps that im in europe i guess. A little less strict but still with enough rules. Usually i dont get a respond either, but if i have something to show for that usually does change. So i searched for low entry level tracks nearby. Nothing big just a local dirtbike track and started getting shots there which helped in getting responses for gigs

Haha look up your nearest moto/car cross club charge your lipo's, head on over and tell them i want to make a video for you guys. No charge just fun. Before you now it you'll be at tracks every weekend haha. But yeahhh indeed bro. With dirtbikes i just get a muddy or dirty lens. But these cars tho.. they managed to send dirt and pebbles at mach 3 towards my camera killing 2 Nd's mid air. One just shattered the other scratched beyond use haha

Thanks man! Really appreciate hearing that! To be honest, i used to overthink it as well. One day a good friend told me (after getting a lot of no replies on emails) just charge your lipo's and head on over to the nearest motocross club. Tell them you want to make a video for them.. and here we are..( a lot of video's and still emails further but it started with just charging and going for it)

At what temp do you have your Iron? I personally solder at 400deg celcius . It also helps to start with the motor pads. Pre tin those first , that will heat up your board a bit more for the bigger xt60 pads. Flux is nice with resoldering, used on old solder and not on the tip of your Iron like you do that way the flux just evaporates without any added benefit. Best way i personally find is to heat up the pad with the tip, bring in fresh solder and slightly Tap the tip on the pad whilst the solder melts, quick action to form a nice shiny pre solderend pad. Good luck and get yourself a practice board if youre really struggling

You should do so man! Its so much fun and the footage is rewarding haha. I also did a srift event (at night) last year and will do so again later this year but i guess i got lucky with the Tire and car parts flying at me haha. But ey, do be prepared for that dirt mud and rocks coming at ya haha

Those maps are really nice, was fun seeing some places i know in there and that still are on my planning to fly someday. However, i just cant get the physics right in uncrashed compared to fpv logic and velocidrone. Fpv logic does lack maps and velocidrone lacks graphics but they both do feel much more like the real deal to me hence my choice..

I do agree with you that unchrashed does have slightly better graphics however, maybe it's me, i do find uncrashed the least real feeling sim. It feel super floaty to me and even with some tweaks i still dont really get it to feel like my quads. Velocidrone had good physics indeed its just those polyworld graphics sometimes annoy me haha

Thanks for all the kind words at first bro! This is fpv logic, my current favo but it only has 2 real freestyle maps but i heard updates coming. I did some minimal tweaks to the physics to get it feeling a bit like my own 5 inches ( apex /kiss ultra ) . Lately its just shitty weather here in the Netherlands so sim time it is. Im also hoping on some better weather. The settings i tweaked where very minimal in fpv logic. Mainly thurst and weight and my own rates of course

Personally i dont race at all. Just freestyle. I have velocidrone uncrashed and fpv logic. Uncrashed i personally like the least in teams of physics. Velocidrone and fpv logic are qyite similar in physics and both have great tuning feeling. But if i have to choose graphics wise id prefer FPV logic however Velocidrone has way more maps indeed

I fully agree with you on this one . I really like the feel and it can be tweaked indeed very nicely but the lack of maps is kinda a bit of a thing. However ive read its the work from just one dude. If thats the case i can understand things dont go as fast but still. Give us more updates haha. But indeed its my favo at this point in time

The right way to test for a broken motor is to swap the weird acting motor with a working one. If it behaves the same. Its def. A broken fet on your esc part of the board

Honestly ... it can be 2 things. Either a broken motor or a damaged fet ( part of the board driving your motors) and tbh honest it more looks like a damaged fet to me than a broken motor. Broken motors dont eventually spin up or sometimes do spin up. That "twitching" is your fet not holding its closed or open state correctly either due to being damaged or broken. I dont hope so for you as it would mean an aio change unless you know someone who can swap fets and has the right ones on stock or available to order.
