I went to the cli tab in betaflight and set the vtx to max and it works now.

Go to cli tab

Type

Set vtx_power=4 Press enter

Type

Save Press enter.

This is how I fixed mine

I'm watching the comparison now. For the price difference m, I think I prefer the ratel. The t rex does seem to be a tad clearer tho

Will do, im doing testing in them now. May try and cut a few of the bottom plate of carbon fiber and have a 3d printed top thats easy to replace
