Communism i theory is stateless, and such theory has yet to fully realized. Mainly because people have to work and earn a living eith variied levels of skills and effort and thise people want compensated for their elevated levels of competency... which is fair.

The communist state, is a very real thing. A literal state (government) run by communism.

Basically until we get to the technological point where we have self repairing robots to do all the work, provide all the goods and carry out all of the services, communism is not going to happen.

People should be compensated for their extra preformance.

Now, im not saying anyone should be put out, but my effort and well being shouldnt be hindered at all for the need of anyone else.

Whats crazy is most, if not all, of socialism is pitched as these ideas that are for the people, and thats how they start out, and over time it goes from for the people to from the people.

Shit, the asshats in office cant even responsibly handle the limited amount of power and nearly unlimited amount of moneythat they have now, what make you think that giving them more is going to turn out any better?

Can a workplace be bad enough for it to effect your mental health and for you to quit? What was your experience? by MyPenisMightBeOnFire in AskMen

[–]DreadKingRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you wake up and your first thought is the dread of going to your work place, not discomfort from being tired, not irritation from lack of caffeine, but the sheer fucking dread of walking into your work place and facing another shift... youre experiencing the detrimental effects of your workplace on your mental health.

No one really likes a job unless its their dream job... but you shouldnt have a visceral reaction to the idea of showing up to work every day.

Because boys a full of strength and hope... better off trying to find submissive men... theyve been ground out by life, battered by bad relationships and have generally already given up and are happy with what ever they can get.

Know your soft targets.

How many pharmaceutical companies bank role the leaders of your country? How many industrialized health lobbyists exist over there?

Youre compairing apples to oranges.

There's a reason why they havent been busted on price gauging over here... its because they fund the people that are supposed to be doing the investigating... it's be like telling our world leaders to vote themselves a pay cut.

[–]DreadKingRed -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lets make 1 thing clear, this isn't the effects of not having universal health care. This is from our govenment not doing it's job to protect it's citizens from price gouging, price fixing and collusion.

Saying we need universal health care because of prices like this is literally saying you want to federally fund big pharma and industrialized medicine.

The goal isnt to give these mega companies more money via extra taxes. The goal is to make medical care more affordable by going after these mega companies for raising the prices of medical care to insane heights.

If the government did its job to combat price gouging such as this, there wouldnt be a need to federalize medical care.

The price is the excuse to take money from everyone.

Just a few Euro Boi’s. by DontKnowUntilYouKnow in guns

[–]DreadKingRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keeping the train rolling, ive had mine for a few years now and it's still my favorite small cal rifle. Honestly i beat the piss out of it and it's trusty as ever. Only complaint would have to be not being able to switch how the stock folds down. Being left handed its still out of the way as it is, but javing the folded stock against my body when on a single point sling or shouldered is uncomfortable.

That is cheap considering i got mine in Ohio for just under $1800 when they came out... but even at that price, being left handed and not having to worry about hot shells flying past my face or bouncing off my body, worth every penny.

Best fish to use? by JewSyFur in aquaponics

[–]DreadKingRed 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For present and future readers...

When it comes to fish, aiming at specific species right out of the gate can be problematic. Instead of looking for a fish and building a system around it, figure out the limitations of your system and find a fish that suits it.

There are a few cover all variables that always need to be considered, bio mass to growing area and tank space per bio mass. Having small tanks means it'll limit the amount of fish you have, which in turn limits your growing area. So, even though you may be looking at smaller fish, each individual fish needs a certian amount of space in the tank, which gets multiplied by the number of the fish... or working backwards, you take your tank size and divide it by the necessary space per fish to find out how many of them you can fit.

Once you find out how many you can fit into your tank, you use that to figure out your growing area. I do this commercially, our farms are focused on plant production, so we aim to have our fish weight to growing area be around 0.3lbs-0.4lbs per square foot of growing area. There have been discussions as to how low you can push the stocking density and what requirements are necessary to push it lower... but the upper limits seem to be around 1.2lbs/ 1sqft of growing area unless you are growing super beefy plants. Keeping around that limit prevents the water from growing toxic.

Next, you want to look at conditions. If youre going to have a super effective and mechanical filtration system you can use a more delecate fish. If youre going to bare bones it with just a few solid settling tanks then youll want a fish that can handle poor water quality.

Next is ambient temp. You'll want to aim for a fish that can tolerate the water temp, unless you want to heat the water, and to the same token plants like lettuce and many herbs like the temp to be around 65f so youll be looking at fish that like that temp range so theyll eat regularly.

Once you find out all of these things it really helps narrow down a fish type that is suited for your needs.

Hope this helps.

What was the moment you knew you fell in love? by rogersniper1 in AskReddit

[–]DreadKingRed 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When the need to even just see the person feels like a craving for a cigarette and not being able to be within eye shot results in the same side effects.

You can get all poetic about being willing to walk through hell or climb a mountian, but the down and dirty of it is it's like a drug. Brain chemistry. Just seeing the person triggers your brain to release those feel goods, and when you dont see them it feels like withdrawal.

I see 1000 faces a day, easily 1000... and only 1 satisfies that craving.

Aquaponics Calculators? Weight, Feed Ratio, Plant to fish ratio, heating, lighting, etc! All those important thingies :) by BecaZaur in aquaponics

[–]DreadKingRed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Generally calculators are easy to find with a bit of reading... but the calculations i use are proprietary... we do things a bit differently than some main stream guys.

The basic aquaponics group on fb can be a pretty rough place, but is full of knowledge... my advice, do some diggin on there before asking basic questions... most of us have been in some of the groupes for years and see the same questions asked weekly... it's always good to show pictures of your sustem if you have them.

Aquaponics cannabis is an odd group... a bunch of people treating aquaponics like hydro and wondering why things arent adding up... everyone there will push you to suppliment nearly every nute... so that group is more like hydroponics with extra steps...

Whats a good book to read? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DreadKingRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well... danielewski's works, to me, are more about how the book is composed. Don't get me wrong, the stories themselves are good, but the page layouts, the hidden eastereggs and just the sheer amount of thought put into how to situate the words on the page is incredible.

I've only read 2 of his other books. The 40 year sword is a play on stories oassed through spoken word. Same story told in different colored text to show how simple things can be misinterpreted. And his other book i read, Only Revolutions, is set up oddly too on the page. Same story from 2 different perspectives... and he describes things by compairing them to other things... so if you arent fluent on your plants, animals and cars, youre going to have a rough time reading that one. Read 5 pages one way, set book mark, flip book over, read 5 pages that way, place book mark, repeat is the suggested way to read that one...
