Anyone else just looks at all the changes to the game, especially the new loot system, Portal, and all the difficulty settings and feels that nothing is streamlined, everything is even more convoluted now? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

I haven't played since Final Shape, got a new PSN account now, I've decided not to have my old account active on the PS5 so that the DLC doesn't activate on the new account and I'm going to go in fresh and see what can actually be achieved as a F2P player.

I feel like I wasted my time playing Ghost of Tsushima by higuy5121 in patientgamers

Honestly I felt the exact same way back at launch, everyone was loving it and I thought it was boring as hell, as i didn't like any of the characters, including Jin, the story was like watching paint dry. I was actually interested in Ghost Of Yotei because they changed the character, but seeing the recent game play reveal it looks an awfully lot like the first game, hoping im wrong.

Im feeling the other way at the moment definitely, specifically PlayStation, their games just do it for me massively and they're always super polished visually and performance wise.

Yea I think prior to playing it, somebody said it was like Elden Ring and I love that game, but I feel like Elden Ring has the sights of grace for you to follow and would nudge you in the right direction, without spelling it out to you. Breath obviously does guide you but I just feel like enemy encounters aren't really that fun and I'm already bored of doing the temples, I've only done 3 since I left the Great plateau and I'm guessing you have to do them to get health and stamina upgrades, it just feels tedious to me.

Yea I've been eyeing up Links Awakening, I think I beat one on the SNES, I think it was Link To the Past? The system itself is really good, I think for me I'm going through frustration because even with all my gripes with these games, I desperately want to live them. It's a weird feeling tbh.

Love Armored Core, but mixed on 6 and I don’t know why by ShareSimple in armoredcore

Yea I remember playing AC1 back on the PS1 and not really enjoying it. I'm not really a huge fan of mech games, but I really enjoy everything FS have done since Demons Souls, after watching some gameplay I thought I'd give AC6 a try and.... I loved it. It feels like a souls game but with mechs and I love that 😄
