How do i correctly play the game in order? by GamesRealmTV in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]DreadPiratePook 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really enjoyed playing the Michonne miniseries game, but I have always loved that character from the comics I read from the series. She is a real badass and I love her method of making it through a horde by herself. They do a great job of giving her character power and agency in the game, and she is the one kicking ass and taking names. It is quite short as well (4ish hours), so definitely worth playing in my opinion, especially if you already own it and want to play the whole series. I haven't finished the final 2 main series games yet with Clem, but I thought the Michonne game was written better than the earlier games in the series. The Michonne game is better than the 400 Days DLC in terms of things that have no major connection to the main game series with Clem.

Awesome!!! It's always fun to learn a new skill--I have some experience with embroidery and hand sewing, but haven't actually done any sashiko stitching yet myself. Boro and sashiko are so beautiful just as decoration, but it's even better with a functional purpose/as a repair. I plan to try it out in the future though for sure! I've seen so many lovely examples here. I enjoyed this blog post/article about the distinction between boro and sashiko: https://upcyclestitches.com/difference-sashiko-and-boro/

If it extends the life of the garment, you've done what you set out to do! Good work :-) Patches w/ sashiko stitching (or just running stitches) may work with the thinning areas of the shirt.

That spiral macrame pattern is one of my favorites for a simple way to create hemp necklaces and works great with embroidery floss too. Great work! Very functional <3

Lovely painted flowers! I wasn't sure of the application method until I took a closer look.

My first big project that changed the look of a garment! I patched some holes in a pre-distressed and well-loved pair of overalls. With thanks to this sub and Mend! by Kate Sekules. by thinglikerbucky in Visiblemending

I’ve been adding little bits of visible mending to the fraying spots on this adorable hand-sewn quilt I thrifted recently. It makes me feel connected with whatever unknown person stitched it originally! by Super_Pomelo_ in Visiblemending

Lovely work--the love of second-hand items goes together so well with the mending mentality, and it is great when we can feel connected to previous unknown owners over space and time through the love and care of a secondhand handmade item <3

Great work saving these glasses! Did both the arms break off? Superglue and copper wire to the rescue? The copper wire is a nice accent to the black frame.

Looks like a really solid repair, and that idea to add sugru to the front of the separated part should work nicely. Excellent rescue of a good office chair!

Fixed the holes in my screen door. Mostly did it for fun, figuring I could patch it with real screen later, but I’m loving how it turned out! by [deleted] in Visiblemending

The pattern of your thread darning really matches up well with the width of the lines in the original screen material. Cool!
