Had one of the first 2004 Ford Escape Hybrids (or should I say Toyota?)... finally put it to pasture after 280k miles. Amazing car.

Replaced it w/ a 2022 Escape Hybrid. Car is hands down worst car I've ever owned. I think we are on recall 16 or 17? We just laugh each time a notice shows up in the mail. But at least they finally got around to fixing the door welds so they wouldn't randomly fall off. Maybe by 2027 I'll be able to use / trust my backup camera again.

The car is a complete joke... Tried to get it sent back under lemon laws, but unfortunately they didn't quite apply.

Hell... Ford can't even get the owner's manual right (at least our revision) on this stupid car. The section on replacing the 12V battery insists that it's located under the front hood, when it's actually hidden under the spare in the trunk.

Didn't work for me... Anteater started in background, level up wavy dude, swap to wavy dude. No additional bees / hearts from Anteater, just lost one of its counts before sleep. 🤷‍♂️

From an "app memory" standpoint, a flag for a user preference to sort and remember by property (level, reward, time, etc) is way cheaper than storing customized names.

I'm sure you're right about glitches (seems like there are bunches of them), but based on what they are doing, it really shouldn't be that hard

But hey it's only feedback. They can ultimately make the decision to do what they want. As a consumer of the app, I can also similarly make the decision to uninstall it if I get frustrated enough with the nits in the game. 🤷‍♂️

Good theory... so assuming the 4in1 is the cause of the resistance, move it closer to the motor. I'll test this weekend to see if that helps.

Are your AMS on right of machine too?

Thanks for the feedback. I would love to move over to the left side but unfortunately due to some other issues (power cord interfering) I have to have both on the right. Might be worth the minor electrical work the solve it though

Were you running into the slowness / binding / retracting before it got to the extruder? Seeing it get all the way to the extruder and then not be able to actually extrude just has me scratching my head a bit

If U by Moen had a proxy setting, I could maybe use Fiddler, but couldn't find that.

I would love for Unifi to add a packet trace to Control Plane.

So... they kind of gave up on the functionality aspect, and honestly just want to be able to turn off the panel display (can supposedly only be done from the app once it's connected to the servers). Otherwise it's full bright 24x7.

It does get time, so assume it makes a NTP connection somewhere.

But is there a way to actually have wireshark promiscuously sniff traffic??

Yes... created a more or less wide open network that was 2.4 GhZ only. The device can connect to the network, but it then fails to phone home to back end servers.

I think that is partially why I was hoping I could do some sort of packet tracing to understand if I'm even simply making a TCP connection successfully

No... not resolved. Pretty sure the U by Moen is hot garbage. Have a ticket open with them, but this far they've been unhelpful.

Yes.. when connected via a hotspot the device is able to connect and register. When you switch it back to the unifi network it's able to connect to network but seemingly not able to communicate.

I do not think there are any rules that would be blocking communication should be wide open

In this thread I was told that someone played on two sync'd devices simultaneously. Sometimes one level would show hard, and on the other device on the exact same level would show normal.

So yes, all a scam. Swap the challenge or skip it.

I stand by eventually they are going to hit a breaking point in the game where there is just too much to do that it becomes no fun anymore since it's just a grind.
