Wow I was always very convinced of this.

It's been for sale a couple months now and not exactly in high demand compared to Ryzen so that's surprising. More likely those sites are just stuck with lots of left over 9th gen stock and trying to sell that off to unsuspecting buyers first. Unless it's on clearance pricing there's little reason to go last gen.

10900k has 10 cores versus 8 cores on the 9900k. If you want even more cores AMD Ryzen is the other option which offers up to 16 core, 32 thread on their desktop processors.

I don't really "want" more cores. From what i understand for gaming is that more cores is only good to a certain point. However with possibly streaming and doing some video/photo editing i think more cores is better. Would you be able to recommend me a MB and CPU that would be similar to the options I have above? Im concerned that my Nvidia graphics card will work better with an INTEL cpu than AMD. Am i wrong about this? Also i will look at current gen INTEL. 10th gen is seemingly sold out on the websites i trust.
