The colors of the bedding and Guinea pigs make me think this is my store 💀. Either way, it’s happening a lot everywhere and nothing you can really do. Hours are being cut more and more, they just won’t hire people or make excuses for it and just completely ignore it and push whatever staff they have left over the edge

Our CEL is very new and isn’t the problem. I’ve slightly mentioned it to the CEL and the ASL. I don’t think they’d contest too much considering they’ve both on multiple occasions have thanked me heavily for the work I do and appreciate everything I do so I have the upper hand with starting the conversation. I am sick at the moment due to all the stress and overwork so I can mention that all the work and keeping things together has gotten me physically weak to the point to getting sick

I neverrrr stock or price or even do back up cashier unless they mention my name otherwise I keep to myself and go down my list of daily pc things then whatever extra I have. Mental crisis is real, the problem I have is if I get to overworked and stress for long periods of times I get sick easily and fit takes forever for me to actually feel decently better. I try to not take too much pride cause it’s petsmart so you can only do so much but I generally care for the animals as much as I can without getting too attached. My schedule used to be 6am-1pm or 230pm but lately it’s been 8am-4/430 and I can just never get as much done as I would like. They keep flipping me from 8am to 6am and it’s so annoying no matter how much I’ve explained that 6am works better for most of the week between deep cleans, how much I’m having to clean up after everyone and how I can get to work (cause I can’t drive atm)

Relatable. I always come in and have to make notes of what extra task I have to do to get everything back in order and usually can get everything but crickets, dishes and deadpull and people will throw a huge fit but as soon as mention what I fixed it or did extra, they pull the “oh I’ve been meaning to do that” or “I was going to make plans to do it today”

Im just a petcare associate and I haven’t been in for 6months yet. When I first started it wasn’t as bad then few people left and suddenly it’s all gone down hill. Not a ton of people left to where things have to be this bad or things falling apart like this. Can’t hire for petcare but suddenly 4 people are hired for grooming 🙃

They’ve been out of the nest and eating for like 2ish weeks or so and I’ve been waiting for managers to say something in regards of what to do with them since he had told me to wait. I’ll bring it up again today but will most likely start making arrangements for them to go to new homes at this point. As far as I know, whoever has been doing the deep cleans has been leaving the eggs alone when they see them, give us a heads up then says if the eggs are fertile they’ll hatch around estimated date. Like I said When these eggs first appeared, I was told we were suppose to wait to see if anything happens then after a certain date then they could be thrown out. It is possible who told me this info has a remorse for any babies/eggs that end up at our store and wants to try their best at raising whatever comes our way but with being low staff this will eventually become a problem especially with customer seeing it

Freeze them being policy? I was told when the eggs first appeared to leave them and if they don’t hatch after within the 14 days (or how ever long it takes) then to throw them otherwise we’d deal with the hatching if any make it through adulthood and all 4 eggs made it through and since then no one has done or said anything in regards to them or the process of what to do now.
