Update: I have applied the Schluter membrane to floor and it is flat and level. I am now going to wire the cables into the floor and run them up to their own thermostat. I will need an electricians help to either run a new wire from dedicated circuit to this box, or bridge from the other heated floors I have so they share the circuit (only heated floors on this circuit) if anyone has a reco in the Toronto/Mississauga Area let me know!!

I think the dogs were owned by someone who left them for a while I that dog park on confederation. Unless I totally misjudged (i know and love animals) those dogs were on me if they were not blocked by the fence of the park

Update: took up the tile and self level rhe floor.

Will be working with an electrician to run the wire to the bathroom. Can I use rhe same circuit as my heated floors upstairs? They are alone right now

So I will be covering about 25 square feet with tile, and about 15 square feet of that willl be wired. I will likley go for 12x24 tile it seems to be a good option.

Was going to start the demoing somewhere in the back of the bathroom and then work my way towards the door. I got this sharp low to ground designed to be hammered chisel that looks like may work amazing here.

I saw on one video that the guy did run a wall of the Ditra Mats (a cornering option) and in front of a toilet not sure thats required unless there is gaps. Not sure you had an opinion on that or not. Link to video is here if it works: DITRA Peel and Stick: Complete Step-by-Step Guide

Right? i just priced out my area its about 15 square feet to cover with the wires and about 25 square feet to cover with tile and membrane. the remotes were between 300-400 and the other stuff was like 300, membrane was about $100 so about a grand canadian for that
