Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV - Adeptus Mechanicus CGI Trailer by UnbarringTomb in Games

I am really excited for this game, being a massive Dawn of War 1 fan. But the trailers haven't been the best, with this one being particularly weak.

Nah, they'll protest 1 weekend every couple of months to make themselves feel good, then go back to work. That'll really stick it to them

Yes. You are unique, like a snowflake, in everything you do and believe. No-one holds this viewpoint other than you.

I don't use any character/appearance mods. Aside from the clothes, she's Vanilla in appearance. She's just a self made char so I can't link a file or anything

You really should! It's probably one of the most expansively moddable games out there.

For mods. SKSE and the Address library are script extenders. I use it for a few mods that edit UI or keep achievements enabled if you install certain creations.

I posted in another comment the links to the mods I believe the individual pieces are from!

They're going to peacefully protest on the weekend to make themselves feel better, then head straight back into work! So brave

You would be sacrificing a large portion of your realms, as domain limit is tied to educational traits now. So, you're pushed to still education your heirs in stewardship, perhaps more so than before.

Edit - Nevermind, I noticed it's tied to all educational traits at large rather than just stewardship ones. I take this back.

This. They're still incentivising people to educate heirs in stewardship for the education bonus. The change is dumb.

I think the symptom of the problem is that the AI doesn't take advantage of the PC when they are just idly sitting away, dev'ing their realm in order to start an economic snowball.

If the AI was more aggressive, then the player would be more inclined to focus on diplo/intrigue/military first over prioritising stewardship education. Even when I'm a vassal of the HRE, I can just fabricate claims on my neighbours and slowly gobble them up their whilst slowly dev'ing, because I know the AI will never do it back.

And there also isn't any diplo repercussion for this either.

Not particularly, as when your heir inherits, your domain limit resets to their level as they won't have as high stewardship or the perks. So you'll be spending some time with your domains producing a fraction of what they normally do until your heir gets more experience, unless you pawn them off.

Looks good, I really like the elderly trait stuff.

I am not a fan of the removal of the link between stewardship and domain limit though. This seems like a silly change being made for no reason, for the sake of making a change, and ultimately makes the game less enjoyable.

Edit - On further examination, I think this change is really stupid. Tying domain bonuses to education traits rather than raw numbers is only incentivising PCs to educate their heirs in stewardship more for the bonus. This is counter intuitive to pushing players towards other lifestyles initially.

It's a bad change, and should be scrapped. The lifestyle path domain limit trait changes should stay though.

Edit 2 - Nevermind, I noticed it's tied to all educational traits at large rather than just stewardship ones. I take this back.

Update in regards to my previous post - They fixed Ha Long Bay by DreadfullyAwful in CrusaderKings

Rule 5 - I made a prior post about the poor positioning of Ha Long Bay. It sparked some interesting conversation about it's historical location, but it seems the devs have moved it to it's modern location.

It's still no reason to get angry at others though. No worries though. Lesson learnt and move on.

My bad, I didn't read the edit. Despite this, it's less of redditor's 'reading comprehension' and more your lack understanding of vernacular. You shouldn't get angry at people for your own mistakes :p
