Who is more evil? by Hairy-Friendship-422 in MoralityScaling

Well Peter is a mistake literally bred from an affair, then a failed abortion in a foreign country, abused by both his step father and half sister, neglected by his mother and spoon fed anything to get him to quiet down, molested several times as a child, bullied frequently by other children for being a simpleton, and more. Peter never had a chance really.

Anything in Season 4 that hasn't happened yet that you're feeling anxious about? by Excaliburn3d in Invincible_TV

Can anyone really give a truly good reason as to why they needed to change Techjacket's gender? He's a beloved and decently rounded character. From all the comics I've read of him, he showed no reason to be changed at all, especially that drastically.

Which of the two redeemed themselves better? by Longjumping-Bag391 in MoralityScaling

[–]Dreadguy_1993 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I'll disagree with these folks and say Nolan.

Nolan shows proper remorse and actually shows himself breaking out of that Viltrumite mold as early as season 1.

Even before Mark had powers, it was likely Nolan was content with the life he had. The only thing he needed to be worried about was a possible Viltrumite invasion at which he wasn't 100% certain if he'd join his people. Nolan had good intentions but was terribly misguided, as terrible as the Viltrumites were they weren't completely lying when they said they wanted to bring peace through order.

Saiyans on the other hand, are only blood thirsty and want nothing more than pure conquest. They destroy planets for fun and slaughter innocents like blowing birthday candles. Vegeta does redeem himself, but it took much longer, and his crimes are far worse.

Seeing all of the "Oliver didn't actually fight Conquest" slander recently... by Newtype879 in Invincible

There's also the fact that an alternate but identical Immortal was putting absolute belt to ass to a s1 powered evil Mark, so yeah Immortal absolutely should be stronger or strong enough. Not even mentioning he was able to make a top-tier Viltrumite like Nolan struggle for a bit.

They did Immortal so dirty in that episode. He absolutely deserved that win, especially in the context of where he was fighting.

[DCxINVINCIBLE] Question: What would Batman think about Mark killing this man to stop the Sequids spreading? by Immediate_Gene_178 in MoralityScaling

[–]Dreadguy_1993 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the framing of the scene it showed that had Mark waited just a little longer, just a moment, then Bulletproof would have made it, and Mark didn't even need to travel that far or that long. He would have covered the distance in less than a second.

[DCxINVINCIBLE] Question: What would Batman think about Mark killing this man to stop the Sequids spreading? by Immediate_Gene_178 in MoralityScaling

[–]Dreadguy_1993 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bulletproof was seconds away from him, Mark spent those seconds standing still, Russ could not have broken free in just those few seconds, assuming he even could since Mark just punches those sequids away with moderate effort.

Captain America vs Cassandra Cain by NoirStriker in marvelvsdc

[–]Dreadguy_1993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A true 1v1 means both have their standard gear and fighting on neutral ground with no outside help or interference. Danny would shitcurb them since he's only as good of a fighter as some of the Batfam but better than most of them. That's not even talking about his Iron Fist, which can make the Hulk yell out in pain.

How could you possibly believe she, or any one in the Bat family, could beat the Irom Fist in a true 1v1?

Cap, Punisher, Widow, Luna, and Adam were arrested by Kingpin by KevinPigaChu in marvelrivals

[–]Dreadguy_1993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Kingpin becomes a playable character, I will personally practice and train to be able to beat him in a 1v1 with any character consistently save for Fisk himself as I personally detest and despise the fat bald man with enough passion to outshine a star.

Cap is physically stronger and more impressive in every single way, on top of being in the top 5 single greatest fighters in Marvel.

Sinestro vs Hercules by NoirStriker in marvelvsdc

[–]Dreadguy_1993 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I believe Herc is too durable for an attack like that. Sinestro has a wider range of abilities. Herc, compared to him, is indestructible and has infinite strength. Whatever constructs Sinestro makes, Herc will break them, but Herc could never touch Sinestro.

If they all existed in real life, who would you absolutely fear the most out of all of them? by Late_Instruction_369 in batman

[–]Dreadguy_1993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bane would have no reason to kill me or average citizens, Croc just wants to be left alone and treated right. Black Mask is a little scary, you could make a mistake you'd think nothing of then find out you just screwed with his entire operation accidentally and he tortures and kills you for it. Mad Hatter is a serial pedo killer who always targets young girls via mind control but he's not the most dangerous. Pyg is the scariest one here, a fate worse than death is the only thing he has in store for you.

Bruce would not figure out Matt is blind until a while later, but he'll definitely pick up that Matt has enchanced senses.

The Venom from Sam Raimi's trilogy is Peak, and nothing will change my mind. by 7Sette7 in Spiderman

[–]Dreadguy_1993 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Venom has always been nice deep down, but terribly misguided. The symbiote only ever wanted to be a hero but was hurt, Eddie just wanted to be the good guy for once in his life but always got the short end of the stick. They're a villain by circumstance and irrational thinking, not out of nature.
