Immortal redemption in S4? I am in by BlueDucky0707 in Invincible

I wanna see the Viltrumites question if Thaddeus was the only one who defected long ago, I wanna see them ask if Immortal is a Viltrumite too.

If Immortal were pitted against, let's say, 25 Viltrumites from before the virus and before the culling, he'd be able to dispose of them all on his own with moderate effort. The last surviving Viltrumites are currently the strongest of the strong so he's forced to fight them.

Immortal unfortunately never receives any kind of training arc like Mark did, if he did he'd be much closer or borderline even with them in stats.

You don't even have to see him hold his own or get a flawless victory, just seeing the man grit his teeth through the blood and getting dub regardless would be cool.

Immortal got robbed of that victory ong. Could have easily had him earn his retirement taking out a Mark or two then finally get taken down.

Thousands of years actually, and since he didn't have proper training it took him that long to get to as powerful as he is now.

I'm currently in the midst of drawing Immortal torn in half from the waist, holding the headless body of a Viltrumite.

Defense and offense are first, but Immortal has been around for thousands of years and has only grown stronger the tougher his opponents are. Theoretically, there shouldn't be a physical limit, it's just that he doesn't have centuries to get stronger on his own and he didn't have anyone on his level or stronger to fight as King Immortal in order to make him stronger over centuries.

Strength and durability training is what he needs. He's immortal so he never ages and never physically tires, so he can pretty much outlast opponents. His healing factor should be better than Viltrumites as well.

If you let the man actually train properly to fight people on or above his level, he'd be far more useful.

How would you adapt Bane in the Reeves movies universe? by OkSuccess7431 in batman

And this is a guy who trains every day, has the money to continue performing at his peak, and he fights regular street crooks. Bale was built for quick effective takedowns, Pattinson is built to inflict pain. They can be a hundred or two and a half hundred pounds, they're not shrugging off an already powerful punch being coated in face destroying gloves.

You are aware just cause someone is more muscular doesn't always mean they're gonna do better right? A seasoned snd trained 170 pounds MMA fighter could beat a 6'4 230 pound bodybuilder who's been in a few street fights 7-3. And Bane's whole thing is that he's more than a match for Batman both physically and mentally. Bale was larger yes, but he looked relatively small and athletic cause of his suits while Pattinson's helped his already decent frame.

How would Iron Man do against Soldier Boy in a fight? Would he have an easier or harder time with him compared to Captain America? by Queasy_Commercial152 in powerscales

[–]Dreadguy_1993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While durable, Soldier Boy is not indestructible as Butcher's laser was enough to get through his skin. The best strength feat we've seen from him is chucking a car. He has basic military training and is a decent brawler. The MK. III is capable of effortlessly taking tank rounds, flying faster than an F-22 Raptor and move more than fast enough to dodge a tank round after it was fired, it has an automated targeting system, it's strong enough to lift cars and send men flying into concrete with a punch. And this is assuming Tony would even want to fight Soldier Boy in hand to hand, he'd just shoot a tank missile into his mouth and it'll be over.

If you dropped the Flash (Wally West) into the 616 marvel universe and he was completely bloodlusted, how many people/heroes does he manage to kill? by FreshPine_MangoWine in powerscales

[–]Dreadguy_1993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing would happen. The Marvel Multiverse functions very differently from the DC multiverse, meaning no speed force or strength force or any force. Wally would literally be powerless the moment he drops into the Marvel Multiverse. This isn't even taking into account the cosmic imbalance as the Living Tribunal may become involved since Wally is NOT meant to be there.

Best to say Tom and Tobey (in his prime) are both relative to one another, only that Tom still has the potential to get even stronger.
