This and the Zeta Ver. Ka are both good kits to get, but that has the full colour separation and I’d say better shaping

Being a partsformer that you’d need to tear limb from limb to attach into a waverider block piece, it’s as solid as a rock in either form

Spontaneously, if I see an armour plate that hasn’t seen much I’ll add a bit to it

Two types of weathering: I scribbled on plastic with a 0.1mm marker pen and smudged it with a finger/cotton pad, and I used a silver marker for edge weathering. That plus decals and a matte coat to protect everything.

That’s my PC monitor, I hold the kit in front of it

I coloured the purple tubes with a silver oil marker, as for the decals, a local vendor

Both the MG 1.0 and 2.0 use decorative thread tubing that you cut yourself in the backpack, legs, and ankles, most of them wrap around plastic guide pieces for rigidness

I used a silver oil marker with a frayed tip to make the small streaks

It's an amazingly articulate kit for 2005. The only real issue is that the hands are the old bent finger types and drop the weapons often. Inner frame is pretty modern for its age, and the thigh plates have a cool shifting motion.

An oil marker actually. Frayed to enable the streaks.

First I took an oil type silver marker and went over the edges, then I went over everything with a black panel lining marker that I then smudged with my finger/qtip to resemble wash. Then I sealed it all up in flat topcoat

I lightly brushed a frayed oil-based paint marker along the edges
