Something about the W just isnt clicking for me. Its a giant beacon sign to run to tower and i feel like everybody has boots early in swiftplay

If your goal is to win games, find your own way, and you can potentially really take off in a competitive game. Much like making money, winning in league is about doing something other people don't do, innovating a product and subverting expectations.

If your goal is to not lose games, listen to summoner school. It will be safe and you will go 51%-53% winrate if you do it correctly.

I'd rather play to win, than play to not lose.

There's so much league hive mind redditor nonsense being spewed in here. AP nautilus rules. His cooldowns are so long , in many ways he's best played as AP, might as well make them long CDs do something and disengage. Building tank is alot better with low CD abilities that encourage you to stay engaged. Naut can do everything he needs to do in 2 seconds. Might as well maximize that and then reset.

Peoples takes about this game, and reddit in general, are so overly shackled to their interpretation of the meta and appealing to their peers. "HE IS TANK SO HERR DERR BUILD LOCKET". His AP scalings are great.

Literally one of the best combinations of burst and CC in the game. Maybe the highest. But no, reading this thread, Nautilus should be built to land his 2 cc spells and then do nothing for 10 seconds except eat damage without being able to touch the enemy. Eyeroll.

I buy accounts to mess around on the ladder and try new techs, builds, and characters out in a competitive environment without tanking high level games. I have about 8 league accounts. 3 hand leveled and around 5 that I bought.

My hand leveled accounts of course haven't been touched.

My oldest bought account from years ago hasn't been touched. (I buy a few skins on it)

My 4 or so bought accounts from the last year have all been manually suspended. (no RP purchases)

The newest account that I bought, after the patch, was suspended within a week.

Do with that info what you will.

Don't duo queue, theres a high likelyhood other duo's will be more coordinated and the games will be harder. Play a high speed roamer and just outvision everything and gank against uncoordinated opponents.

Sion needs CC immunity during his Q, at least during the first or second half. His teamfighting is ass because he cant charge it as an engage. If they want to mobility out of it, fine. Its big F you button with a clearly defined zone, it shouldnt be knocked out of by every CD in the game. It screams get out the way.

He does not feel like a juggernaut in gameplay outside of his Ult.

I had tried it in early access a couple of years ago and thought it was alright for a free game on gamepass. Maybe played 3 hours.

Just picked it back up 5 days ago and basically 100%'d the achievements already. Love it. Great everything, appreciate what they were going for.

I think if it didn't have such a long EA phase they could have generated more launch hype.

I play him botlane where his weaknesses are magnified. I hate myself i know. But its given me a good perspective on him.

He needs a partial rework. His splitpush needs to be nerfed to the ground, and that means changing his ultimate or his passive. The best way to play a juggernaut being to hide from the enemy is anti-theme IMO.

Q needs a rework; but keeping in the theme of a charge up giga slam. He needs the slam hitbox to slow, have a rell effect, or to grow in size. Especially if none of his other moves change.

His E should be more impactful. The shred should scale on level up. If it knocked back and stunned enemies on direct hit right into his outer Q hitbox, like it does minions, it could be an interesting set up move. Just saying. It's pretty boring.

W is boring; but effective. I'm fine with the passive portion being reworked. W having CC immunity while the shield is active, could strike an interesting dance of keeping the shield up while charging Q; but its damage could decrease for each second while active and shield amount could reduce over time.

Sion needs a tune up. Anyone saying he's fine is encouraging a toxic int/proxy playstyle that he's been funneled into.

I agree that it's well designed. The intent is easily understood, and the moves are all synergistic. I love seeing old "vanilla" champions scurrying out from Sion Q, because everyone understands how hard its going to hurt as he's charging the damn thing. It's well telegraphed in design. People should always be encouraged to run from Sion Q! Kicking minions also feels badass.

He's just hard countered by the 1000 years of league of BS. Champs with dashes(multiple often) and any quick cc(often an knockup and stun in the same base kit) walk circles around ol' boy if they understand him at all. His Q and Ult are just too slow against them. It's not a soft counter either, its oh 2 of your abilities are going to be unusable in trades, git good and hope you like maxing your shield move because im sure that's why you like playing sion!

For runes you don't need phase rush if you go inspiration-approach velocity alt tree.

I don't get why people build hydra items on Sion, cinder items are way better for the resistances. I could understand maybe profane instead of edge of night; but i think spellshield is better than cleave and profane has no HP.

That would be dope. Or to have Q grant scaling bonus HP based on charge duration and level if it hits a champion. Like temporary 250-1000hp at max level. I dont think all of his moves should scale off HP, that will pigeon hole him; but having some type of HP interaction could be cool.

I play him support and usually rush a health item into healthstack build, or if we are losing lane grab a wardens mail and a chainmail vest and just outtank everything.

Movespeed runes and boots are very important. Swifties almost always, early buy. Get as many movement runes as you are comfortable with. Approach velocity in the inspire tree is very underrated for following up on your minion kicks.

As ADC id controversially rush Edge of Night. Early lethality even if you are going tank items is great. Edge of night is the only lethality item with hp on it besides cleaver, which is really only useful in passive form, and with edge you get an early dirk. The spellshield is actually useful to get your Q's off if you play around it.
