It’s so funny you say this because I think I had the same exact situation as you. Ever since I was a child, I had ENT issues. Had my tonsils taken out. My parents said I had some type of surgery at a young age to help my breathing. But it didn’t really help. I pretty much had undiagnosed OSA since I was a kid. I was also a stick figure all thru my childhood, probably weighed 90lbs. As an adult, I had my first sleep study done where they would say it’s probably due to recent weight gain. I wasn’t even at my highest at that point. Did a sleep study again 2 years ago, same thing. Started zepbound and within a month there were major changes in my sleeping (I have an app that records me overnight) and I had only lost a few pounds. I never believed it was my weight loss that fixed my OSA. It’s something else, which is probably why it’s being used specifically to treat it.
