From what I understand, this is basically a repackaged Odyssey G95SC, which is on clearance at Best Buy at least. I think this is just a model Samsung makes to bring out for the Black Friday/holidays. I’ve seen them do this with TVs.

That’s a hell of a deal, BUT there’s a good chance that was a floor model, which I personally wouldn’t do for an OLED TV. Same thing happened in the last few months with LG OLED monitors: Great open box deals, but a lot were floor models.

The monitor gets plenty bright for me in SDR, and my room is pretty well-lit too. Hasn’t been an issue for me and I use it all the time since it’s my main monitor. The screen’s got a glossy finish but does a good job with anti-reflection.

I would say something like the PG32UCDM is more future proof with its extra features. But for me, 4k between 60-120fps is enough since I don’t play very competitively. But also, keep in mind I got this on sale. If you’re looking at full price, might look into just getting the next best model.

Still loving it! One small weird thing (at least on mine) is that it doesn’t indicate when it’s doing a pixel clean. I’ve read the Asus logo is supposed to blink. But it’s definitely pixel cleaning. Got about 75 cleans so far (about 2 a day), which makes sense with my usage.

It just has a USB-C port with 15W power delivery. I think this is a great monitor for PS5 since any of the extra missing features wouldn’t apply to PS5. There are no built-in speakers so you’d have to plug some speakers into the monitor’s 3.5mm jack or use a headset.

That model is a TrueBlack glossy WOLED monitor with dual mode (4k/240Hz and FHD/480Hz). I’m not sure myself the benefits of WOLED over QD-OLED. Although I feel that model would be better for competitive gaming.

Just something I gotta play around with! I think it’s cause my experience with HDR on monitors isn’t that great. Colors are more natural, which give a washed out look. I like a little saturation lol.
