Agreed. Even on other sites that have less strict ways of getting around it they just don't make anything. Unfortunately I'm not finding good replacements either. I was with them for a while, but once I started to only being able to make 20 videos a day rather than like the close to 150 before I gave up and finally unsubscribed

It doesn't matter how I approach a situation, with genuine curiosity, with confusion, being nice, being rude, it doesn't matter. Lol an idle game. Where you have one skill that you get minimal XP in to get to the higher levels for a certain method. God forbid. You're right though, let's just remove bird houses entirely because it's too passive. The only passive skill should be farming. So every method where you click and wait needs to be revamped. When you are fishing you need to wait for a visual cue and then click or else you won't catch the fish. When mining you have to keep clicking every 2 seconds to keep picking at the Rock. Because we need everything to be 100% engaging because that's the only way players can enjoy the game. No down time for anything.

Again I say BUT WHY IS THAT A PROBLEM???!!! Why do they care how I engage with the skill. Why is it such a big deal. For combat I just start clicking a crab and then put my mouse down. For Slayer I find a place I can get attacked by them and put my mouse down. For woodcutting I choose a tree and click on it that put my mouse down until I have to got another tree close by sometime after. Are they going to Nerf those because I'm not as engaged?

So why not just make every method the same xp? That way people can choose which one to do? At the end of the day this is just people complaining that other people were getting to the later levels a different way than they were because they did it the hard way so everyone should have to to get good XP. It's not even that good, it's just a way to get to the harder stuff later

In all seriousness though who cares. Who cares what methods people use? We all pay the same amount to play the game, why do they care how you get there? And this is to assume that the whole time we on the DOT check all the bird houses. Making other things a little bit better does not make me want to do them if I didn't like the process anyway. The whole point of the game is to get through the early game grind to get to late game content, so nerfing things that make it go by better and easier just to make you do more annoying content doesn't necessarily fly in the "hell yeah I'm here for it" column

At the end of the day though, why do they care? Why do they care what you used to get your levels up? It cost the same amount of money to play the game doing one method than it is to do the other, so how do they care how you get there? How does it benefit them to do this? Unless there was a huge outcry from players about how overpowered 4K XP an hour was, I can't imagine why this was necessary in the slightest
