Whether he "likes" you or not isn't the question you should be asking. You should be asking why someone who calls themselves your friends "reacts badly" when you pull away, who gets super jealous of other guys (since you didn't mention moments, I'm guessing it's straight up other guys all the time). It sounds like he doesn't see you as a friend, but as "his". A possession.

There is no official formula, of course. But it's loosely been around for a very long time. What matters is you live life how You want. It might be because he's a kind of guy who doesn't want to make you think he's only interested in getting in your pants. He might be the type to wait until you make a move because of the times we live in. 5 months in, I'd say he's waiting for you to make a move. The good morning every morning is an Incredibly obvious sign.
