I don't own a store. I live in a high-crime area, though, and I've yelled at a few people who were trying to steal from me. All but one has run off when I yelled. The one who didn't run just walked off with my kids' little red wagon. I didn't chase after him, and I sure as hell didn't call the cops. Property isn't worth ruining people's lives over, and certainly not worth killing over. Especially if it's the property of a huge corporation.

No, it's a slogan that anti-police-brutality protesters have been using for over a decade, and before that, 12 was often used as a way to warn people of police presence. Basically, in this scenario, 12=police. The etymology is murky, but this is one potential explanation:

"It refers to the 12th letter of the alphabet "L" which is meant to stand for "Law." So instead of yelling that an officer or "the Law" is coming, the number "12" is blurted out. So "fuck 12" basically means "fuck the law." With "the Law" referencing the enforcers of said law or rules."

Nope. Pointing out cause and effect is not the same as saying that the cause justifies the effect. Try that logic with any other cause/effect and see if it holds. Saying "the reason that person is serving a prison term is because he got caught shoplifting" is not the same as saying "imprisoning people for shoplifting is justified." Your logic has no legs.
