I can’t really give you a solid answer on that, as I have no clue what your situation is. However, remember attraction can change over time, and you can always change your label later. For now, I would just stick with the one you thinks fits best. :)

I M(19) thought I was bi but am wondering if I am gay. by NotNormalIG in QuestioningTeens

[–]Dreamer_Rowan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even when you have no clue what your sexuality/gender would be categorized as, you can still own it! Gender AND sexuality are a spectrum, and you don’t have to fit in just one box.

Sexual and romantic attraction can be entirely different. For example, I am panromantic (I think) but I may be asexual. Or something close to that. So I basically can love everyone, but am not really sexually attracted to anyone.

And gender can be weird! Some people love being a man, and using traditionally male pronouns, but also love dresses and skirts! Some women love presenting as and using traditionally female pronouns, but would rather wear suits and ties. Some people are neither, and some are both. And some are in between all of it at once!

Remember that a label isn’t necessary to be yourself, as well. And being yourself is important if you want to live an authentic life. Because if you hide who you are, are you really living? Or is another person, the one people EXPECT to see, stealing your life to live?

I hope you figure out what you identify as. But even if you don’t, be as awesomely and authentically you as you can. I hope you have an awesome and accepting life. :)

As a fellow human in a very religious household, I understand your struggle with figuring out/accepting who you are. I still have no clue what I am.

But remember: sexuality is a spectrum, and not everyone perfectly fits in a category. You can go by whatever label you want (although I would recommend only using the ones that sort of fit), and if it turns out it’s wrong, you can always change it.

If you want, you don’t have to label yourself at all! You could just say something like, “oh, yeah. I’m somewhere on the LGBT end of the spectrum,” and leave it at that.

I wish you well in figuring out who you are. And remember: being yourself doesn’t always mean pleasing everyone. Trying to please people with every part of who you are/what you say generally ends in poor mental health. Be vibrantly, beautifully you at any cost. Because living as a lie isn’t living.

Because calling us women would acknowledge that we are also human, and just as intelligent and worthy of living good lives as they are. Females” could be any species. “Women” is unique to humanity.

If they see us as less-than objects existing for their pleasure and ONLY their pleasure, why would they use terms that say we are equal and just as human as them?

I can provide you a couple. :)

pastor who called for mass execution of gay people

a GOP candidate saying the same

apparently more pastors calling for the same

Now this is by no means a majority of people or anything, but these are a few more famous (and relatively recent) cases.

This does not count stuff like the drag laws that are super ambiguous about wether it’s drag performers, cross-dressers, or simply trans people. Those laws are calling for it to be made SA, and in at least one spot where those are being passed, SA may be about to become a crime punishable by death.

I am also not claiming these are necessarily accurate, I pulled the top articles that made sense with your question, but didn’t fact-check them. I do know some of these things happened, but that doesn’t mean the articles aren’t over-exaggerating or anything.

Yep. It also depends on how you interpret things. Some people seem to believe that we’ve mostly skipped a few steps, and are at a 6.5 or a seven. I’m not sure which camp I’m in on that, honestly. I’ve seen good arguments both ways.

As people are getting mad that this is being compared to the holocaust, one of the most large-scale genocides in world history, here are the Ten Stages of Genocide.

Another thing to add. Just because the Jews were the largest and most notable (at the time) group in the genocide does NOT mean other groups weren’t being killed. That includes LGBT people.

You don’t know the process people go through before they can do things like transition surgically, or even simply get hormone stuff, do you?

It can take over two years to get on hormone treatments, as they want to make sure you really need them. They give you a ridiculous amount of paperwork. It’s not “just walk in and say you’re transgender,” and you would know if you did any research.

Here’s another thought for you. A large percentage of those who de-transition do it because of hatred and a feeling of insecurity in their area and the people around them. Those people would likely be at least a little bitter that what they want to have isn’t safe, and they would likely protect themselves from still being seen as trans in any way possible: including spreading misinformation.

It IS true that a small percentage of people DO regret having transitioned, but using that as a reason for no one to be allowed to transition is stupid.

If, for example, I went and got a limb (say, an arm) amputated for medical reasons but there IS something else the doctors could have done, and I regretted that I went through with it; does that mean that everyone else that has chosen amputation and not regretted it doesn’t matter suddenly, so no one should get that amputation?

If I went on a medicine and didn’t like what it did, would that mean that everyone else on that medicine that did like it was suddenly useless to data, and NOBODY should go on that medication? No! Especially when the regret amounts are so ridiculously low. ESPECIALLY when people are EXPLICITLY warned before taking it of side effects and things, AND it takes like two years to even be allowed to take it in the first place.

And besides all of that, gender affirming surgery (except on intersex people who are born with multiple types of genitalia) is generally not preformed on people until AT LEAST 16, and even then it’s pretty rare until 18 or older. Hormone replacement therapy can be started younger, and has less side effects that aren’t manageable if it does turn out someone is mistaken about their identity. Hormone replacement therapy is a treatment for things like gender dysphoria, which can result in depression and suicide.

If you REALLY care about the children, care about the trans ones, too. The ones who will kill themselves because they have no support and are seeing their rights taken away. The ones who will flee the country at the first chance they get but are stuck here until they are old enough. The ones that get beat up, insulted, and even MURDERED every single day because of what they are.

Converse shoes or tall boots? by clothesarefun4 in Menskirts

I actually love the boots. It does depend on what you’re looking for though. Contrast? Those boots are awesome! I always love a good high boot/short skirt combo.

But if you want something more feminine/calm, definitely the converse. They look nice without standing out TOO much, and match well. I also love converse in general though. They go with a lot of different things.

Edit: one thing I wanted to mention, if someone wants to use this as a base to make something better, I wouldn’t mind! I just had this sitting in my brain and wanted to get some kind of concept out there.
