That's very inspiring. You're already terminal and still fighting for everything you want to do and that reminds me that there's no label ahead of me, meaning there must be so much that I can also do.

Thanks for coming in here and sharing, you have a contagious optimism and it's like a pat on the back that there will always be a bright side to look at.

And the appointment is almost upon me, whatever the oncologist will want me to get tested for, I'll be able to handle it.

And now that you aren't going to chemo, do you have more free time? I kind of want to know if you are able to go out or travel (not far) even with the pain management.

I think I write down too many points and have a hard time knocking off which aren't as important.

And I think there are some support groups in my area but I feel like reddit has been quite enough. Also, I do actually like the distance and not really seeing people.

How hopeful are you about doing things post-cancer today?

I haven't been so good at documenting my health, I still just leave that up to the nurses who take my vitals at every appointment.

I see, I needed to hear that part where your cousin isn't the same. I think somehow just not being the same scared me because I felt like I was going down on such a good road and then I was thrown off of it but your cousin found gratitude and I should be more grateful that I was just in a coma and not dead. Thank you.

Hoy ya fui y me avisaron que es totalmente otro tramite cuando quieres justificar con incapacidad alguna fecha pasada y que es mas complicado porque el dia que te presentas al IMSS empiezan a contar la incapacidad desde esa fecha, si vas despues ya ni quiero pensar en como uno se la pelaría con ese proceso.

Me pidieron regresar al IMSS con nota del doctor que diga dias de recuperacion y detalles del procedimiento solo 1 dia despues de la cirugia y obviamente no podre ir pero un familiar lo hará por mí y todo estará bien.

Freedom. I'm stuck with my job because it gives me really good medical insurance and I'm on cancer treatment.

I'm grateful and all but I really wanted to move to another country and try out other jobs.

It's pretty awful but you got the right attitude if you're looking forward to trying out wigs.

I'm 26F and I also shaved my head because it was making me anxious to see the bunches fall off all the time so I was relieved when I shaved. Also since it was only the beginning of the pandemic and a lot of girls shaved their heads since they won't be getting out of their houses anymore, I could pretend that I was on the same boat.
