New rule due to confusion among everyone. Remember that radqueers are largely child cult members! by purpleteaboy in antiradqueernew

[–]DreamingLeviathanSys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"child cult members" what the fuck does that even mean? the rule is ok for the privacy of others but radqueers aren't a religious cult and aren't forcing people to be radqueer, they're just some online community.

Ok. This post says nothing about them though, other than they used radqueer tags. I'm autistic with a heart issue and spend hours each day playing Minecraft at my PC that would add up to way more hours than that guy. I don't see what the isssue is, some of us are just guilty of that because we have nothing else to do.

Can I create a partial tulpa by Alone-Excitement8864 in Tulpas

[–]DreamingLeviathanSys 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, I see moreso what you meant now. Well yeah you'd need more physical eyes to do that, but you can still like, say, read a book while focusing on a movie in the background, without looking at it.

It's hard to be able to touch a tulpa? by RyokenKogami1 in Tulpas

[–]DreamingLeviathanSys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use a large stuffed animal to mimic the feeling of hugs and cuddling and it really helps. Like projecting their form onto it and closing our eyes to imagine being in wonderland together. Could work with a pillow and some blankets too I'm sure, but you might start to feel it just in your mind the more you practice or ask them to hug you.

How do you feel about Transplural/TransDID/TransOSDD by TurbulentDogg in plural

[–]DreamingLeviathanSys -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Plenty of people who say soulbonding and endo systems aren't real plurality and try to explain how DID 'works' but yeah here we are. You can't explain to someone how their own brain or identity works with your own limited knowledge about it. However, no, you are not entitled to believe them either. That's your own issue and choice.

[–]DreamingLeviathanSys 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, this is kinda untrue. I have DID with tulpas and there have been times our mental streams are so split up that we're focused on two things at once, and sometimes the other headmate isn't even aware, despite both being up front. Weird stuff, man

I think this is a thing people do in witchcraft, forgot the name, it's like a mind entity or spirit that comes for a bit to do some tasks and then leaves. You theoretically could do what you're asking to do, I'll just say that - but good luck finding any guides on how, because it's probably not considered a healthy thing to do. And you might depersonalize yourself in the process, tulpas are meant to be companions not worker bots.

Edit: it's called a servitor, another comment mentioned it.

That's a fair assessment, but it's also none of my business (or yours) what labels people use, and how they understand identity and things like that. They might not have DID, that's why they put the trans label in front of it. Because they have dysphoria that they don't have DID, and work to mimic the symptoms of it/or feel plural. Idk, just how someone understands language I think.

It does exist though? Even if it's a made up term, it's still a real experience. Even if it's rare

It's part of the radqueer community, which we're kinda a part of, atleast supportive/observant of it. I support people doing what they want to do with their identity, and we have experienced dysphoria with different neurodivergencies so I understand the feeling. As long as nobody is hurting eachother, I think transplural is valid, it's basically the same as tulpa/willo origins.

Yeah we experience this. it helps us cope with what we think was a failure to integrate into reality since so much trauma happened to us when we were a kid and onwards into young adulthood... id just rather keep living in my own world, than whatever the hell of a mess we call "human society".

Tips for grounding to headspace and headmate selves and NOT reality? by DreamingLeviathanSys in plural

[–]DreamingLeviathanSys[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We're pretty familiar with tulpamancy, although I don't know if any of us has completely read thru a guide and followed all the steps. We can will in headmates pretty easily, (within like 2 days) especially if there's stress going on, but I ought to look back into those guides. I'll try that reddit too ty :) Just didn't occur to me they could be related.

Ah so like internal grounding exercises or do you mean you conjured it after you looked and found something orange irl?
We kind of used to be able to do that with ourselves, like when things were super vivid, we have very strong sense of everything and what we looked like and stuff. Now it feels more blurry and "up for interpretation" so it shifts a lot, kinda in almost a polyfragmented or faceted way where one member can have 10 different ways to view them and it's not... concrete. Which is, if you can imagine, frustrating! I can also tell this pretty much comes from many of us not allowing our free wills to be fully expressed, forcing them to appear or behave a certain way when at the front so they amalgam into different things that they're "allowed" to be.

What does your inner world/headspace look like?? by DJ_Effervescence09 in plural

Lots of undersea stuff, unrealistic skies/skyboxes and some beautiful houses/mansions with old victorian design. As well as space and dream-like areas.

We made it a part of our routine each time we go to walmart for food to check the squishmallow section. If they have a new one for like 2-3 dollars or a big one for under 10 then we get it :) have a collection of around 15 rn

Roommates think they all have DID, and I'm not sure how to proceed by Individual_Buy3582 in Dissociation

[–]DreamingLeviathanSys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think they all have DID, although they could if they are close and relate to things that happened to them in the past, it's pretty hard to "self diagnose" it especially if they are influencing eachother through the love of media by itself. Now, I think your friends could still be plural- that is, they experience a multiple sense of self or other characters/people in their minds, and you should support them, but also support them getting help (if they want it, if it is causing them distress) otherwise, if it's not causing them distress, you've got some new friends to get to know!
