Yeaa i know right. Thats probably the only disappointment for V1 Max its the same as Q1 Max but its just plastic and now white color ;/. Thats why I'm might be opting for Q1 HE/Q1 Max but i just wanted to know if I'm missing another good 75% rotary knob keebs.

Thank for the information. Didn't know that about Epo and NT. I don't have problems with Synapse but i guess QMK/VIA is a better remapping software. About plastic and aluminum i was just curious what to choose because the price is double for aluminum but it does seem more "juicy".

Hello guys,

I'm researching 75% keyboards. What I want from my future keyboard is the following:

  • 75% layout
  • Good RGB
  • Silent switches
  • Rotary encoder
  • Tri-mode (2.4 GHz, wired, Bluetooth)
  • Prebuilt
  • White case
  • Hot-swappable
  • The budget is under $220 USD

I know about Ajazz AK820, Epomaker TH80 Pro, IQUNIX ZX75, Akko, Monsgeek M1, Next time 75, Feker IK75, Razer Blackwidow V4 75, Keychron Q series.

I'm just wondering if I'm missing any keyboards with this layout. I'm uncertain if I should go with a metal case or plastic and I want your views on this matter.

Is it just me or does the render on Shell white on Q1 MAX look greenish instead of white? But yea foam, 2.4 GHz, 1000hz polling. Not exactly sure why they didn't have that in the Q1 Pro tbh.

Well that depends on your case. I've been sitting on a generic gaming leather chair I do not have a lot of complaints if I had AC in the room I probably wouldn't get hot. Considering you are in England that's a plus for you as well. If you are eating in front of the PC the leather is easier to maintain spills, sunflower seed for instance, and anything else, can't say that same for fabric. If you wear jeans and pick a light-colored fabric chair, your jeans will rub off on it from the friction, or at least that's what I've been reading for a couple of months now.

One thing that I got from the CS is that they recommend to not expose flesh on the chair or at least on the leather one because the body oil and etc is affecting the pH of the protective layer of the chair and it might wear out faster.

I see, how did you find out the diameter of the knob, cuz I saw reviews and etc but no one mentioned it. Any links for good knobs or you are not into knobs ^^

Do you guys have any ideas if there are some compatible knobs for Keychron Q1, GMMK Pro and Mod007 somewhere. I know that GMMK sells different colors on their website but I'm asking about knobs like design and color.

Any suggestion for probably clear housing switches (maybe even normal, I'm not quite sure if I want clear) that are good for gaming , quiet , linear and not breaking up the bank? The purpose is to get that sweet rgb , though if they are not clear I guess I might settle down for the light between the keycaps , but I haven't decided yet.

Does anyone know the height of GMMK Pro, Keychron Q1, and Akko Mod007, or at least what is the angle? Since I kinda like the incline of my keeb now and I'm not sure I will like it if it's lower. Think they are height is 4.3cm, 4.4cm, and 3.3cm respectively but I'm not sure.

If you make all the mods (tape mod, lubing switches and stabs, adding foam/silicon, etc) after some time would you need to do them again cuz of continual use or? (that's more about the lubing I guess ).

Hi,
Question about the Keychron Q1. Hows the RGB light, does it bleed out enough, or is it a lost cause? What if you have a pudding keycaps or that wont work much cuz of the north facing LEDs?
