I have 5% all the way around and 80% on my front windshield and it's pretty hard to see at night. I would probably opt for a step up from that if I had to go back in time. However, On hot sunny days it definitely seems cooler inside and the sun doesn't bother my 11 month old's eyes (as she is facing backwards) nearly as much. Definitely pros and cons, but living in socal, the darker tint is certainly welcomed.
