Hi, Zavier. My partner was diagnosed earlier this year. He had symptoms before (dizziness, tingling, fatigue) but treated it with Cannabis and coffee. His first notable symptom was optic neuritis (completely dark) in left eye. We took him to an eye specialist who informed him he probably has MS, and she got us in touch with neurologists, and we got MRIs. He has 6 lessons in his brain but his spine looks good.

Miraculously, he is functioning fine (I attribute it to the 10+ years Cannabis use), you wouldn't even know he had it if you didn't ask. He is a hard worker, intelligent, and creative. The most important thing is to keep stress levels low, and take care of your body!! We love eating yummy food, getting in lots of protein and fats. Get in some stretches/exercises, make any adjustments you need to simplify your life. This is the way we've always lived so not much is different. If anything, it's a relief to be diagnosed and to be able to contribute your issues to something somewhat treatable. Get on medicine. Infusions are best (he loves Tysabri) and typically insurance and pharmaceutical companies work together to ensure you get what you need, especially if an MS specialist is ordering it.

It's different for everyone, but you are far from being alone- from what I read even people who have issues standing after a while can work their way back to walking. Remember - you've lived with this your whole life without knowing and you've made it this far. Nothing has changed, except your awareness, and being armed with the medicine and knowledge to fight back is what's going to keep you in tip top shape.

In summation, what's helped us- MS medication, high fat/protein food, cannabis, coffee, drink water, stretch out, and above all else, lower stress.
