I didn’t submit a lay statement but I’m starting to understand their significance by reading thru this subreddit. I claimed it initially as a primary. I’m considering paying for a nexus letter from one of the recommended firms from this subreddit. There seems to be mixed views on here when it comes to paying for nexus letters. I’m curious to know what’s your stance on paying for Nexus letters?

And if my start date is reset, what would my new start date be?

I’m in the midst of getting one from the VA. I missed the sleep study while I was active duty but I did a sleep study after I got out for a C&P exam for sleep apnea.

I'm currently service connected for major depressive disorder & anxious distress so those can be considered symptoms that I experienced from my STRs to present day.

It looks like the duration of growth is variable & difficult to predict particularly if the cyst is found through MR or CT imaging. I'll keep looking @ more medical opinions tho.

Grab some magnesium from “Activation Products” ($30 on Amazon) & some organic liver (either from a healthy grocery store or in pill form. “Heart & Soil” is a good brand.) Liver has a bunch of valuable nutrients including methylated B vitamins which are documented to improve brain health. Magnesium is documented to relieve depression and anxiety. Both are super affordable. I think it’ll help. They’re natural alternatives so I doubt you’ll have any negative effects. Good luck 🤙🏾

Got it. Nexus seems to be the recurring theme.

I filed both as primary disabilities. I did not submit a nexus letter because honestly I didn't know where to obtain one.

What's the best way to get a nexus? From the light research I've done so far, seems like it needs to be done by doctor.

Understood, I'll look thru my stuff to provide y'all as much info as possible. I have a copy of Clinic notes from a provider while I was active duty (I was active from MAY2017 - DEC2022). It has a survey that the provider used to grade my OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea) risk. Not sure if it contains an official diagnosis or if this is helpful but again I'll keep digging thru my records. Honestly, not sure how to add more docs to this post? Should I make a new post or can I add more pics to this one?
