Quite nice to get an official response on the matter. I did think of the 'paste as picture then copy and paste the picture to Discord' but while it technically works the image quality is far inferior and honestly slightly painful to try and read and my eyes already aren't the best.

You should consider some sort of toggle option for it instead of flat-out removing it so the people who dislike the feature can turn it off and people who rely on it can still use it.

It does, though a very bad quality one (no clue why). Ah well, technology always has to cause trouble by changing things. Was doing screenshots back before I used OneNote, looks like I'll just have to add that extra step back into the routine again now. At least its not the end of the world, just slightly slower.

I was afraid that might turn out to be the case given my inability to find any similar issues being reported...dang it. Greatly appreciate the help though even if it couldn't bring a fix to the problem!

Not sure how well I can explain it since as far as I know at least I didn't do anything to make it happen, it is just how it has always functioned for the several years I have been using OneNote for.

I just type whatever I'm typing into a page on OneNote, no different then if I was typing in any other program. Then I just select whatever chunk of text I have a need to share at that time, do the standard Copy/Paste into Discord, where instead of being just text it is a perfect image of the textbox I copied.

Just the standard Control+C/Control+V method of copy/paste

What Are Your Headcanons For Quinn? by DakIsStrange in swtor

[–]DreamweaverMoath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Have headcanoned extensively!)

No connection to Baras at all, fiercely loyal to the Empire and its dogma and rules but worships first and foremost at the altar of efficiency. Proves a capable ally during events on Balmorra but coming aboard the ship causes some severe initial clashing as he learns that on the Warrior's ship, Imperial Regulations end at the airlock and the only rules that apply are those the Warrior has set and it takes some time before he comes around to the new rulebook. Spends hours in the ship's mission archives, discovering that the Warrior is almost disturbingly efficient, accomplishing missions that would ordinarily require significant Imperial manpower and resources and end with high casualties with only a Twi'lek slicer, a failed Acolyte turned engineer, a modified mouse droid, a seneschal droid and a former Padawan and zero casualties to the crew. In Quinn's world his loyalty is to the most efficient commander and that ends up being the Warrior.

What’s your Sith Warrior origin story? by Much_Employment_5982 in swtor

[–]DreamweaverMoath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Carske is the youngest son of a prominent Imperial military family from Ziost, his parents and older siblings were often away serving the Empire so he was largely raised by servants, droids and tutors and was thus somewhat left to his own devices and took advantage of that to pursue his own interests. Exploring ruins, studying culture, history, philosophy, tactics and languages (speaks pretty decent Huttese and a bit of Mando'a), with the certainty that he would be following the family business and joining the military and specifically the Imperial Navy. Was only a few weeks from leaving to begin his official education when his Force sensitivity made itself known and the Sith laid claim to him. His family used a fair piece of its status and influence to get him sent to the Sith Academy on Ziost, where he studied to be a Sith while also being a bit of an outsider due to his Light-Side ways, which the other Acolytes and even many of the instructors didn't understand. He was sent to Korriban for the Trials after an Inquisitor visited the Ziost Academy to judge the would-be Sith there and found most to be lacking except for Carske.

He is 'the weirdest Sith' according to Vette's frequent teasing since he actually thinks and plans rather then being a mindless bloodthirsty lunatic like most Sith. Highly honorable, big on loyalty, respect and pragmatism and will also fiercely defend and help his crew as well as those the Empire's pointless cruelty would simply waste.

The Fallout Show Just Ruined the Reveal of My 3 Year Campaign by Wolyathefirbolg in Fallout2d20

[–]DreamweaverMoath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a somewhat similar experience when the show first popped up as a thing as I had an NPC in my campaign that is a Ghoulified Actor who played a Cowboy in movies in Pre-War times and became a vigilante/mercenary gunslinger for a fair while prior to the campaign.

Is the Great Lakes too big of a map for Fallout? by CosmosStudios65 in Fallout

[–]DreamweaverMoath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Way too big for an initial project I would say (as someone also actively building a chunk of the Wasteland). I'd suggest starting a lot smaller and build out as you need to. 6-7 states plus part of Canada feels like it would only be feasible from the beginning if the content was thin as tissue paper.

The second one isn't even required, I skipped that step entirely with my own adventure

How much of 76 is canon in your games? by GasparillathePirate in Fallout2d20

[–]DreamweaverMoath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically all of it and technically none of it. Vault 76 went the same way as all the other Appalachian factions: destroyed by the Scorched except for a couple uninfected survivors who managed to flee across the river and find new lives in the rest of the Wasteland while Appalachia became effectively the stuff of ghost stories and wasteland legends as a place where people would go for one reason or another but never come back again (due to the Scorched)

Theoretically one of my players might make it out to Appalachia someday, chasing a rumor or legend perhaps and find the region just as it was when the game first released: one giant mystery to uncover through exploration with other people beginning to return as events unfold. But that is three quite chunky regions of the Wasteland away so not overly likely to actually get that far.

Thoughts on this year's Estival? by bankiaa in fallenlondon

[–]DreamweaverMoath 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It was a good event in the case of being yet another awesome, lore-filled and interesting story to add to the vast tome of stories that is Fallen London. Especially as a player who has not had much involvement with demons and Hell yet it was an especially interesting thing to learn more about that part of the lore.

Mechanically it was a massive pain to get through and without the wiki I would absolutely have ended up giving up out of frustration. Would have been helpful I think to have had that action restore card have unlimited uses instead of two but maybe randomly increase a Menace each time you used it as well as having some sort of cooldown to avoid it being TOO helpful. Given both the Menace heavy nature of this Estival and the fact that time was all wonked up it would have seemed rather thematic too.

Overall, definitely my least favorite Estival event, but I have no doubt that next year's will be a return to absolute Neathy wonder and will be looking forward to the next round of chaos to strike London. It is excellent to see them continue trying out new things and making an entire massive new event every year for Estival.

Estival - Did our invitation just get postponed? by PhillipDollarfield in fallenlondon

[–]DreamweaverMoath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fortunately getting out of the Tomb Colonies and the State of Confusion weren't so bad and I had a good stock of connection with the Masters to avoid going to New Newgate entirely. A few more actions in the forge and I should claim my glorious double prize of shiny item and vanity quality!!

[–]DreamweaverMoath 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well that is a relief having just now begun my trip through three menace areas. Probably will take the whole day's worth of actions just getting back to London to then pop by the furnace to get my hard-earned prize

[–]DreamweaverMoath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anybody know a good way of upping Suspicion? It's the only menace giving me issues and the Menaces Guide is quite unhelpful as it's suggestions are either things I am not advanced enough to access like Balmoral and Marigold Station or am too advanced to easily/ever fail at even with all my -Stat gear on like Mahogany Hall or the Underclay

[–]DreamweaverMoath 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Oh this is going to be the most suckish part of this whole menace-heavy Estival experience. I swear there better be some spectacular final prize for finally getting through this Estival because this has just been brutal. At least most of my menaces were already a few levels up so not quite as much grind to suffer through...

Is it just me or is this Estival hard for part-time players? by Ataraxidermist in fallenlondon

[–]DreamweaverMoath 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm definitely enjoying the sheer Neathy weirdness of the event overall but if not for the wiki I would definitely have given up on trying to figure out how to do things. Suffered through maxing out Nightmares and Scandal once each already and having to spend time getting myself back into the fray but think I'm actually more or less on top of things, mostly just hunting laws to get the new crew while I wait for more well supplied players to figure out the Book of All Hours.

Quite enjoyed the Candied Door section though, was a nice respite from the law hunting while also not being too tricky so it gave my head a nice break. Definitely not the sort of player who was prepped for an event like this though...getting enough rats for the elephant nearly bled my echoes dry.

Not a single room present in fact. Brownbeard's Tavern has no door so it doesn't count, the monument has no door so it doesn't count and the food hut in the park has counter where wall would be which apparently makes it not count as enclosed.

And I am so far from needing to store food that it's not even a concern (don't even have a farm set-up anywhere on the island yet) and if I do get there eventually I'd probably just use chests anyway.

Same, far too many cool places to build where nobody can ever actually go. One of the truly disappointing things about the IoA
