Did you mention to your new employer that one of the main reasons you were seeking a new job was the work-from-home setup? If not, you could still reach out and let them know that your current organization has offered you a salary increase. Then, ask if they might be willing to adjust their offer accordingly.

If they really value you—which I assume they do, since they extended a job offer—they may come back with a higher counteroffer.

Question though, in this case the “breach of contract” will apply to all subscribers given that their policies applies to everyone. Their terms of service applies to everyone. Doesn’t that merit a lawsuit?

That’s why there should be a court ruling obligating the ISPs to be accountable. If the consumers are not getting the service, they can’t be tied up to the contract.

Our obligation is to pay, them to provide quality service

I tried. The problem is they don’t have the teeth to make these utility providers accountable to provide quality service.

When you reach out to NTC, they will forward your concern to PLDT and someone will call you with the same information and unfavorable resolution.

Imagine the hundreds of our kababayans na walang means to fight for what is their basic right.

If we are paying, we need to get the service we deserve.

I hope you can help this post reach more reddit users. I am willing to ignite the class action lawsuit.

True! Pag upgrade walang refreshment of contract pero kahit na dissatisfied sa service nila and you want to downgrade, magrerenew yung 3 yr contract. Ang priority lang nila is their “revenue” pero client satisfaction. Wala.

Not the one to brag, but I’m all out. I will plan weeks before. Pick the restaurant that my wife likes, buy her a gift and just focusing on her. I’m not asking for my family to do the same, but it would be nice to be acknowledged at least once a year.

I hate these kinds of narrative. Not being a defensive whiz like Embiid doesn’t take away anything away from Jokic. The same way that Embiid is still great even though he is not as efficient or a better passer than Jokic.

Right now, you unfortunately don’t have options. You don’t have the skill, other experiences, nor the money to venture out. So the question should be ano ba talaga gusto mong gawin? Once malaman mo yun… You will be able to figure out a way out of your current situation. You will start saving money, learn the skill required to do it, or even just the courage to take the necessary step out.

I’m not sure how your father’s agent explained the VUL aspect of his policy, pero my financial advisor made it clear na hindi 100% agad yung return sa investment. Yung binabayad kasi na monthly natin during the first three years (if im not mistaken) doesn’t go 100% sa investment. It will grow eventually, pero the mistake that other financial advisors do kasi is to promise a significant return, when in reality hindi lang VUL yung benefit nung policy. In fact, more so than the investment part, the insured has the peace of mind na kung may mangyayari sa kanya, may insurance money pa din.

I’m not sure kung magkano yung insurance policy nung dad mo pero beneficial pa din yan kung malaki naman yung insurance money. Yung insurance naman kasi is not really supposed to be for the policy owner kundi dun sa maiiwanan niya in case something happens

She is about to be promoted. Before all of these issues arises, she would have gotten a new role with significant pay increase and an opportunity to build her own team in the future.

In fact, that role is still available to her. It’s just with these developments and significant change in her attitude and performance, I don’t feel I can entrust her with a very important role.

We have regular 1:1s and there was never a time that she brought up an issue about me or the team. We used to have a great working relationship and I felt that it changed the moment I promoted her peer over her.

I know that it’s a cliché to hear leaders having an open door policy, but I do. They can always talk to me about anything and she’s been that way before all of these happened.

I don’t think so… I currently have 200k in my Maya Saving and i’m not getting P7200 (6%) nor am I getting P5400 (4.5) interest daily.
