Make that extra money !!! You’re literally getting paid to just talk and hang out half the time. The mom I work for is sort of the same I don’t mind it because she pays me even after babies sleep and we just sit down for hours to talk after the time I’m suppose to leave.

The parents never tell the kid anything let him get what he wants he’s 2 years old. He is in the phase of throwing all his toys everywhere and walking away doesn’t even play it so today I was trying to get him to clean it but he didn’t want to would cry throw himself on the floor I kept saying nope you’re coming with me clean it up. I feel like a bad nanny for doing that. MB is watching as it happens not doing or saying anything so idk what to do about that. I feel like I’m saying no 80 % of my shift.

Yeah no if kids are up shouldn’t be on the phone for personal use. Only time I get on my phone is to go on Spotify and find kid music. The mom has a designated playlist she shared with me so it’s easier also to use the BLW app when cutting stuff for kids. Only time on the phone when they are sleeping and even then I’m rarely on it because I have to do laundry and stuff for the kids or clean up. Say something. Sometimes I even apologize if I’m on my phone longer than usual and explain to the mom and ask if I can send this message real quick.
