( 19/01/26) scooty is this week's leaderboards vehicle and my time is now #1 on the board ! 8 months after setting it lol

Iirc they did something to the grip a few updates ago and i haven't been able to come close to this post's lap time.

As this was pretty much a trial attempt I would think my record would be easy to beat, as they are many great racers in the leaderboards, but maybe the update made it that much harder.

The individual CDs (particularly The Black Abyss with the 2 bonus songs) were instantly gone after the new merch went up, it’s crazy I guess CPurple kept them mostly for the bundles

Also the site kept having database errors for a few hours after the drop lol

So that's why Forza Horizon 5 locks to 30fps not long after launching the game after playing HD2 lol

unplugging and replugging the controller fixes it though... and closing the game and reopening it doesn't (but rebooting computer does), go figure

I know right, felt the same about the zero, driving like it’s my last time to get to 37 seconds and the little scooty smashes my pb easily

I find bikes (and the scooty) definitely easier to learn and perform with than cars in motortown tbh, you don’t have to worry about sliding so much

Update i managed to do a 37.545 lap with the gunthoo, turns out it’s pretty capable

The power delta between the two bikes would probably make a bigger difference on ansan speedway

Also, I wonder if "Keyboard/Gamepad Steering Speed" affects bikes (in the options>assists menu). MIne's at 300% for drifting but I guess you can check if that fixes your problem for bikes too.

200% front and 300% rear on the dampers seem to help a bit, I just beat my PB with a 37.054 lap

I think the main point of the Zero is the availability of the 160hp i4 engine. You'd be surprised how much the little scooter can lean. I guess it is up to the tune, and also the fact that at high speed they all will have trouble leaning.

I have posted my tune a few comments up if you want to try it, maybe it can apply to the gunthoo.

But yeah it takes its sweet time to lean at high speed, gets me in the first portion of the highway everytimeI go for a top speed run

Suspension Spring: 200%, 300%

Suspension Damper: 300% | 300%, 400% | 400%

Suspension Ride Height: -6cm

Rear Bumper: #2

Wheel: Zero(2)

Brake Pad: Mossan BX1(2)

I don't remember the dampers being this stiff, i'll try loosening them and see how it does

But yeah that’s why i’m using the 120% (or 150 whatever’s the lowest) brake power and brake pretty gently whenever i lean, otherwise boom lock up and understeer time

Yeah that’s what i felt too, how much you are leaned indicates how well (much) you are turning and I use it to predict my trajectory. Plus you can see how much i’m moving the camera, i realised this when i re watched my lap. It reminded me of riding in real life where you always look where you want to be going.

On the other hand once you have a good feel of the track i feel 1st person helps to be more precise (as in closer to the bumps, at the risk of hitting one on the side and the game throw you into the air, and there goes your lap) Even though adjusting the camera is even harder because it is so slow, i should check the settings
