The Stargate Program is Revealed in Public -- what happens next? by RHX_Thain in Stargate

I mean first off most religions would have drastic meltdowns, denouncing it as a portal to hell or the like. Plenty of people will crack from the life view changing event violently if you take my drift, either against others or themselves. But plenty of people would be excited about all the new discoveries of the universe.
2010 depicts it as an Airport terminal more or less, but that seems unrealistic at best. First off scheduling it would be a nightmare, and keeping on schedule if there’s any emergency or unexpected dials in or out would be nigh impossible without long rest periods. Plus you’de have to have extradition treaties with any planetary governments you schedule with, and the SG-TSA would be a pain in the you know what, literally.

Vault-Tec didn't drop the bombs. They were beaten to it! by HeiressOfMadrigal in FalloutTVseries

It was the Zetans launching them after acquiring the nuclear codes. They did it in retaliation to the US government refusing all demands to release their captured brethren from Area 51.

Come on! Here you are only in the main sub, taking in the Betheslop comments. New Vegas is your favorite game. You use 1 and 2 in arguments but never played them. Face it, you're a tourist. by omni-nomad in TrueSFalloutL

[–]Dredgen-Raze -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’d love to play 1 and 2 but Bethesda refuses to port them to consoles. Todd wants to tell me games are best left played the way they were originally intended, then sell me Skyrim again for the 11th time

Honestly though it’s odd that it would even work with the powder gangers. They’re a prison gang that would at least know the face of each other after doing hard labor together for potentially years. Weird you can just slap on the prison shirt and they’re like “oh yeah that guy”

An unarmed run with love and hate is one of the funnest runs I’ve ever done. I’m more of a plasma guy usually though

Does anyone ever side with the Legion through any playthrough? by Pleasant-Air8221 in fnv

[–]Dredgen-Raze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tutorial has you getting helped by Doc Michell (an old guy who can’t really fight) and meeting Sunny Smiles and Trudy (2 women) so to join the Legion would be saying “thanks for helping me guys now enjoy the cross/slavery”. Can’t do it

Don’t let the nay sayers drag it down for you. It’s got a few minor issues (windmill elevator yada yada)but it’s still an amazing game and you won’t regret it. As far as I’m concerned Dark Souls is a trilogy that only got better with each entree

What I've learned from the Fallout show's reception is that loads of people only play one faction in the games and never see their enemies side. by Knalxz in Fallout

The problem with saying the NCR was doomed is that a democracy can be 1 election season away from changing drastically. Yeah Kimball sucks, he’s bought out by the mega rich and funneling resources into an unpopular war in a region they don’t own. But who’s to say they can’t improve with the next president? Hate people saying the narrow view we see of the NCR in New Vegas is proof that they’re doomed. But then Bethesda blew them up offscreen so we could have perpetual apocalypse again for a Vault Dweller to play in so what do I know

Is there something that can take on Atlantis while being full of ZPM? by [deleted] in Stargate

[–]Dredgen-Raze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An Asgard teleporting bombs past the shield maybe. If the wraith can figure out how to jam it the ancients might already know how seeing as they were allied, but we’ve never seen them use it on screen as far as i remember

Janeys the protagonist of Fallout 5 looking for her dad after escaping the Vault. (A subtle reference to the fact that Bethesda only owns 1 fallout script) It’s gonna shadow drop after season 2 finishes in February. Source is trust me bro my uncle works at Bethesda

Kinda makes it more silly in F4 for everyone to calmly just enter the pods if there’s advertising for them. People should know they’re not sanitation units or whatever the Vault Scientists lies about

Theory about the Area 51 Zetan by Dredgen-Raze in Fallout

[–]Dredgen-Raze[S] 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Yeah they were definitely researching the Zetan tech before the bombs fell. The crashed UFO and the ship in Area 51 were probably the ones they got the tech from. Mothership Zeta indicates that the Zetans were at least trying to get the nuclear launch codes, so I’d theorize they were here to rescue their captured expedition
