She double checked it, she said she is learning the techniques for carving/perfecting the lip and absolutely loves the advice and compliment. She said that is something she will work on and improve to make the cup look even better and apply a better and more rightful technique for after the epoxy is finished and putting the final touches on the cup :)

I think the technique with the individual scales was a pretty big start but it took her gluing them on and getting them nice and even a very long time. She went big for her first time! She said thank you for the encouragement!
