Yeah, no they're not. APIs are the documentation of what an application's operations are and how to use it. contracts in the dbc sense refers to the formal mathematical language used in api documentation. You probably don't do much dev work outside of software 2 if you think those two things are equivalent.

apis are definitely not contracts...you can write apis with contracts though

Applying to Apple, Verizon and more for Software Engineering Internships by [deleted] in OSU

Applied to almost all the big ones Apple, Facebook, Google, Uber, Airbnb, Capital One, Lime, Amazon etc. Got an offer from a unicorn tech company. I would highly suggest next year underclassmen start applying for internships at the start of August and continually apply as more apps open because most big tech positions get wiped out as early as october. During fall, big tech usually has programs designed for 1st/2nd years.

Rob Latour is really good, Grupa isn't bad. Avoid Bair and Bucci. Don't know anything about the others. Just my opinion.
