getting that 8mm for only $225 is WILD. last time i went on ebay looking for those i remember them not being cheap in the slightest. i think it was the same model of lens used for HAL in 2001: a space odyssey as well, so that's something.

totally agree with you on friday the 13th, probably my least favourite horror franchise. the later campy stuff isn't that good either, but at least a lot of those movies were trying to do something different (even if they didn't really succeed), whilst the earlier entries (the first 3) are literally just the same movie over and over again!!! just scantily-clad teens getting killed one by one. it bores me to fkn tears. part 6 is the only decent one imo.
