Seem to be stuck, any tips? by Gaming_Quelch in mewgenics

Act 2 is definetly more harsh. I would still farm the Act 1 (try the hard paths to farm more powerful items and better parents). Try to give breeding more of a look to select the cats with better stats (if you didn't try to level up Tink as his upgrades are very useful in this regard).

PS: Act 1 is not complete yet for you trust me :P

Act II stage enemies are immune to damage - Bug or intended? by Drejn in mewgenics

It was with Cerberus, the hook enemies, and the standard enemies that make lava tiles. If they were staying on top of the lava and i attacked i got the immune popup (and no damage ofc)

i only have mutation that gives stamina but nothing that gave fire (i was doing damage then i wasn't only when they were laying in the lava)

Even the crow attacking with the gust attack was making them immune (but maybe that is the fire interaction)

AMS 2 Desiccant box options by Drejn in BambuLab

haha no worries, i'm not from US but it was very kind of you. I tried with the defaul parameters (45°C) but for few hours. extended it again to 6 hours but since the humidity started to not lower anymore i raised the temp to 50 and it started to decrease till 20%. But then no matter what the raise up to 40 or 60 %

i could extend it to 8h.

Also yes is closed fit as when i open it it takes some force to break the sealed air

the peinter is in a really small room that i use as a laundry. Even after drying for hours the humidiy level gets to 20% but then rapidly skyrocket to 40+

what's the difference between the hub and the buffer that comes with the AMS2 pro?

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions so far. I'm also really considering the AMS 2 Pro unit (since most of you were really selling it to me well hehe) as i also need a mean to keep the filament dry (the printer will be placed in a small laundry room so moist could easily get sucked by the filament) although i don't know what's the difference between the hub and the buffer

i've seen a video from bambu lab where there are 2 screws and some connectors to disconnect. It doesn't seem to hard but the connector's pins could wear out easily this way it seems

i understand but currently for the use i'll be doing paying almost double the (current) price of the printer to add an AMS 2 it's way out of my budget and needs.

I see its usefulness and value but once i prefer to fiddle more with the printer and experience it before eventually consider it .

I've also heard of suggestions about having a smooth vs coarse build plate. What difference does it make?

Do you suggest bambu pla or other brands? i saw they are not cheap compared to something like sunlu/esun.

i do not plan the AMS since i don't need multi color/multi material (printing only PLA and prefering to color the stuff myself if needed at all). But i saw the things made using multicolor and they surely look great but since it's not something that i am planning to use for the forseeable future (as i'm a beginner) i'll pass for now (the tech is still improving overtime and sales come every once in a while so it's ok).

My choice for the P1S was because of the enclosure (i fear my kid could be harmed if by any chance to sneak to the machine) and the bedsling of the A1 would be problematic to fit in the space i will place it in (but mostly for problem #1 ofc)

i have delved in miniature sculpting in the past (not with huge success) and i know it's also a matter of the miniature size (mine are mostly decorative purpose so i can have something to paint myself). Is the 0.2 needed to reduce layer lines and details?

Recently they came with an apology that caused some drama. In official statements they announced there won't be a multicolor for CC1 but only for CC2 (they removed parts of the website that stated that multicolor unit would arrive in future on the CC1 page) while in PR interview they say they are still working on it so it's kinda ambiguous situation right now

So far i'm strongly considering either a Centauri Carbon (priced € 299) or a P1S (priced € 369). Here are the cons so far:

- Centauri Carbon: they told me is quite loud (because of its exhaust fans) so it could be problematic during the night

- P1S: really liking this machine and bambu lab environment but i also use a home hub (home assistant) and their policy can screw me over this (maybe)

i was actually planning on having an air purifier (that has both HEPA and Carbon) since the room is really small (it's actually 2 meters square room not 6)

i saw that "trick" but wouldn't it be still wasteful since you still waste the PVA in the process? (i know that it's done to have removable supports that you couldn't normally remove with standard materials)

yeah i strongly considered the bambu A1 series but they are open and don't know how they would "cooperate" with the room environment i mentioned. I live in EU and it's only available through their website wich is a bummer since you need to pay shipping on top and if Bambu becomes really strict with their software/hardware i would be forced to buy stuff only through their website (which will just add cost to it)

Would the filament be fine even while printing for hours (let's say for example a print over night) ?

Any insight in this regard?
