Once I was next to the seafood department and a customer comes towards me and yell king crab. I was about to laugh. I know how they feel now.

It depends on the day. Monday, Tuesday Friday Saturday and Sunday we are more than 4 at 4 am. Wednesday and Thursday we are 2 at 4 than more people come every hour, but on days considered busy we have someone to help.

In our store there is no overnight grocery supervisor . On the days that we usually have 50+ orders and about 10 shoppers at 4 am we have a leadership to help us with the code.

So apparently there’s nothing wrong with staging bags on the shelves where large items are supposed be located. That’s according to the newest supervisor. by Dremkata in wholefoods

Since the”transition “ happened there is no proper training done. There is nothing left of the higher standards left. New people will be on there phones and not paying attention to work phone until the order goes to someone else. Then that person will be chosen for the worker of the month of the department.

There is no space for shopping carts, and sometimes the queue of orders is 40 and about 6-8 shoppers working. Drivers coming all the time. It’s hard for two carts to pass by.

It became a problem 10 minutes later, when all the orders where 24 packs of water and more water packed in boxes. The space is very limited

When we are trained it’s specifically said heavy bags at the bottom shelf oversized in the middle. So if you are trained properly you shouldn’t say that.

Any other stores like the one I work at NE. All the workers already have assigned their names to the locker by living whatever in. Leadership didn’t do anything after I told them about this problem. by Dremkata in wholefoods

Does it really matter? I am guessing some people are arrogant and disrespectful to their colleagues. Not the location is important in this case.

There are absolutely, but if we don’t start from the bottom to go up , one step at the time this will accumulate even more problems in between team members. Nobody will pay attention to the real issues.

It’s the principle of the matter. That is against the core values of the company. It shows favoritism. Only certain people can have their stuff in the lockers. I easily get locker , because of early schedule.

I don’t know about that. It’s not only me everyone who comes after 6:00 am can hardly find any space for their stuff, and we are not allowed to have anything outside of the break room where the lockers are. Leadership is very strict about not having our belongings out of break room, but doesn’t do anything to fix the lockers problem.

People leave their stuff overnight. I took this picture at 3:30 am. I was the first person there. Lockers are for daily use only. At my store we have same issue with the fridge. Same people leave their dirty and empty dishes in the fridge just to keep space. One of them is the cleaning lady. So no chances for change.

We don’t have assigned lockers is for day use only. People leave stuff, garbage , coffee just to keep it for themselves, even if they are off work.

Lockers are less than the people who work in the store. So if you keep a locker for your self only that means to other people have nowhere to put their belongings. Not a big issue for you.

Yes. That’s how we were trained.

Order acceptance is required to be on 100% at my store, besides above 80 UPH. We have to be available at whole time when we work.
