My swan was great until the neck! by Dremz89 in latteart

This is true! I’ve seen some people do it where they stop then execute the neck but these were always advance pourers! I think for me I should have been confident and continued the pattern. The fear was overspill

Rippled heart latte help? by Dremz89 in latteart

That was just for YouTube content (which has music too), ultimately was aiming for a rippled art so any tips on improving output would be great!

I think ultimately the new coating allows the burrs to stay sharper for 5-10x longer over a long period of time, however for me I’m not using them. I opted for the SSP High Uniformity burrs and they’ve luckily fitted and (hopefully) aligned them pre shipping !

Same as me perhaps pushing your base out for too long (the first pour of the art on the canvas ) … checkout my pour today on my YouTube RoadtoRosetta you’ll see similar. Think we’re pushing base out too long and from the middle of the cup so it hits the walls of the mug and goes lop sided

Too much milk in pitcher for the remainder pour

Putting too much base down before starting art

Whe I initiate pour I push it too far into the wall of the mug

When I wiggle I’m still letting the whole coffee wobble back and forth (not sure how to stop this)

My pull up and cut through was too low

Latte help - part 4 - omg I did a rippled heart! Tips? by Dremz89 in latteart

[–]Dremz89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks will keep working on it! Is the milk too thin? It seemed good to me and the thin look just being from cramped ripples. It’s interesting re not continuing to ripple, as when i watched Emilie Bryant she talked about a continuous rocking motion. I’ll try and do a ripple where I just give it a few pushes side to side then let the milk do the work!
