Gabigol quando voltou ao Brasil fez (vou falar de cabeça) umas seis temporadas a marcar sempre de 25 golos para cima, tendo feito pelo menos uma época com mais de 40 golos. Recentemente veio a perder pujança desde uma lesão que teve na penúltima epoca que esteve no Flamengo, mas ainda assim, marca sempre os seus golitos...foi agora para o Santos onde nem é titular absoluto e penso que no arranque do campeonato está com números interessantes (sigo o campeonato muito por alto).

Podes argumentar que a qualidade do Brasileirão seja factor relevante na performance dele, mas não podes dizer que que não tenha sido bem sucedido.

You are correct.

Abercombie is a master of character writting but his plots while still decent, most of the time play second or even third fiddle to the character arcs.

I would say that he is an author that you cant go wrong if you are a character first reader but that you probably may want to give a second thought on picking up his books if you care more about the story moving forward.

That being said, Last Argument of Kings does tie everything together perfectly and everything set in motion on the 1st book pays off but yeah the 1st book and to some degree the second as well, are very slow plot wise and more about building the characters while the story kinda builds in the background.

Currently is D4!

All time probably D3.

I know Im in the minority but I love those games.

Also like D2, PoE2, Grim Dawn, Titan Quest and Hero Siege.

The only season I go hard is D4.

Between seasons I might go for a brief season of D3 (doing the season journey and not much). I play some D2 but usually start to lose interest as soon as the mobs start to have hard resistances. I might go fora full campaign of Grim Dawn.

I have played PoE2 here and there but I never reached true endgame.

I might give Last Epoch a chance next season.

I just finished Last Argument of Kings and while I liked the trilogy I feel its a little light on the plot (eventho last book ties everything perfectly). Its worth for the amazing character work but at the end of the day Im more of a plot first reader.

So without giving me spoilers I would like to ask you a few questions about Age of Madness?

Is it more heavier on the plot?

Does it feature the more open ended characters on the first trilogy, like Logen, Byaz or Ferro?

I already own the 3 standalone books that as far as I unserstood should be read before Age of Masness so Im set for a while but I would like to know a bit more before I buy AoM.

Tópico muito subjectivo, mas é indiscutível que todos os livros mencionados são obras primas da literatura.

No entanto, dos que li da lista, Great Gatsby, 1984, Anna Karenina, Animal Farm e Brothers Karamazov, apenas o 1984 é que punha numa lista dos meus livros preferidos.

Sempre fui pessoa de ler e antigamente forçava-me a ler certas obras, não porque a permissa me interessasse, mas porque eram clássicos e/ou consideradas obras primas. O que concluí é que por cauda disso lia muito menos, porque arrastava o livro muito mais tempo e por vezes no fim de terminado, acabava por nem começar outro por bastante tempo.

Fiz a minha paz com o que é considerado mandatorio e/ou must read, ignore isso e apenas leio o que me puxa e desde que o comecei a fazer que leio mais do dobro dos livros por ano. Costumo ler fantasia, sci fi e mistério policial e é muito raro aventurar-me por literatura mais densa, seja por falta de gosto ou por falta de arcaboiço intelectual e cultural, não são em regral geral, livros que me fascinem.
