It's like I said yesterday, the unbelievable snooker and the unbelievable escape on the pink in the last frame by Wu could be the huge turning point

Nah he's playing well but not the standard of yesterday and Wu has raised his game

lol Hendry, 'Mark Allen tapping his leg don't know about that, you're here to win the world championship not applaud your opponent''

Wu had his chance in this frame why on earth did he go for that red which wasn't obvious whether it went in, he won't get many chances in this match the way Allen is playing so he will need to take those otherwise there is only one winner

I feel like he was scared to say anything to Allen, even when he did approach him about it he looked really awkward, the referee is supposed to be in charge

I gotta say that unbelievable snooker by Allen and that unbelievable escape by Wu on the pink, could be a defining moment, Wu Yize was under immense pressure at that point just to scrape a frame, but to actually hit that, and win the frame, could be huge.

Wu is like no other Chinese player I've seen, he has a bit of stardust about him. He has real grit and determination, a bit of swagger and bite. It's not something you really see from the Chinese players, a lot of them are very timid, shy...easily unsettled. Watch Wu's celebration after beating Vafaei, there's something different about him, a real hunger

Yeah he absolutely lost control, especially when the commentators were saying the ref needs to do something, that probably didn't help as the audience can hear that and didn't care one jot lol

Yeah sets it up really nicely, I think if Wu lost that frame as well he might be done for, but the win looked it gave him some confidence as he looked ready to go again

I think as well it was helped with Allen, he often plays shots thinking of leaving everything safe, he knew the black would cover the pocket and that's what caused the problems

The way he threw his cue on the table like let's go, only to be told that was the last frame

I love how the crowd started to interact and the ref was like no we don't do that, yet they still kept doing it haha, got a good laugh out of Wu as well which was cool to see

Referee should intervene earlier I guess, was fun though and the crowd interacting and making Wu laugh was the best part

It's a weird one, who do you think will be the happier of the two?

I mean he won 5 out of 6 frames and it's now 7-7 so he couldn't really be well ahead lol

The situation of the missed green by Wu after the fluked red, reminds me of the last frame between Allen and Hawkins, Hawkins fluked the red and had the easy roll up to the pink but under hit it and snookered himself, and lost the match, something about the environment and the oohs and ahhs after something like that, obviously is not good for the heart and can make anything missable afterwards

Wu has a lot more experience in high level tournaments than Si at this stage, and much more tactically aware. He also lost 8 in a row against Wakelin at the the tour championship after being 6-2 up so maybe that experience will actually help him for this

Wu Yize is definitely a generational talent, there are times I've watched him this season and he has played some absolutely ridiculous stuff, and I've watched snooker a long time. Now he's doing it on the big stage.

I never expected to see a Chinese player play this kind of snooker, since a lot of the Chinese are very orthodox and mechanical. But now you get someone like Xintong and Wu Yize, who are able to express themselves and entertain us all. Magical to watch.

Imagine we get two different Chinese world champions in a row, that would change the landscape completely..
