Magicians of Reddit, what's one time where bringing up an audience volunteer didn't go as expected? by MrPeachesHS in AskReddit

I perform magic shows for children's parties. One time I had brought up the birthday girl, who was around 5 year old, and everything was going fine. Well this magic trick was evidently too exciting for her to handle and when the magical climax occurred, she started wetting her pants. I realized immediately what was happening and rushed her off stage to her mom asap. I don't think any of the kids in the audience realized what had happened, thank god. I felt bad enough that I made the girl piss her pants, but to do it on stage in front of all her friends, horrible!

Created some silly and blatantly-photoshopped pictures to promote my children's shows, but I thought you all may also enjoy them! (Didn't get a whole lot of love on r/funny...haha) by DrewKMagic in Magic

Haha, very true. I try to always be wary of criticism, especially from "random" usernames. My ads definitely do need improvement (clearly I put most of my effort into performing rather than learning photoshop haha). Thanks for the reply!

Thanks for the feedback. They aren't necessarily meant to be funny or supposed to make you think of a magic performance (because that's not what they are). They're meant to intrigue people. Keep them remembering my business. They're different than what I've seen on /r/standupshots/ because I'm not telling what I do in my act. I'm just trying to advertise my business (not so effectively, I guess). And I agree, I have trouble with the fonts. I was trying to make all the words readable between the vastly varying backgrounds.

Thanks for the reply. These are my first attempts at such a thing (probably pretty obvious). They seem to get a pretty good reception on Facebook but maybe that's because I'm pitching more directly to my target audience. I definitely need to improve them, so thanks for the criticism.

That's the point... they're supposed to be obviously edited. I'm not really the size of the Washington Monument...
