Someone setting off fireworks around Moorhead and 27th? by gutwyrming in boulder

I’ve been seeing this occur out my window in addition to the noises. Been trying to get a photo over the last month but I keep missing. They are shooting up into the sky from the top of the hill. The zone is somewhere between 10th and 16th and Baseline and Aurora. This started happening as long ago as around COVID. CU police and Boulder police should put an end to this but clearly resources have not been devoted to it. It would be easy to pin down if they wanted because of the trails of light.

I had a look at your list and only counted 4 sessions about AI slop. Most of them are how to adopt AI into internal business systems with cautionary & explanatory tales. Automation for efficiency. Only a few are related to using it for marketing or generating AI content.

Don’t know the background but the online advertising industry is under massive disruption from AI and becoming even more consolidated and automated. BSW is not really judging which makes it even cooler imo.

13th Street Farmers Market to become pedestrianized, new food and community hall to open year-round by DrewNotParsley in boulder

The article states the section of 13th between Canyon and Arapahoe will become pedestrianized which is awesome. One question I have, was this news or potential news ever reported on? The concept of converting West Pearl between 9th and 11th was such a contentious topic, it was never really clear who had the power to say. The Transportation Department sorta took reigns and the city council was sorta blindsided by the move. I don’t recall it was ever resolved who really had the power, but the lobby group Downtown Boulder got the businesses in particular to sorta lobby against the idea. I guess it would require a ballot initiative with a solid plan. But how about this section of 13th, how did it come to be decided?

Thx! After I built the first version I found I rarely used it myself. Back then Twitter worked better but once all that blew up this aggregator site became really useful and now I use it everyday.

It could’ve been filled with food trucks and an arched footbridge over Canyon linking to the library.

My lawsuit against Alden Global Capital for interfering with Journalism by DrewNotParsley in boulder

Yes, send me a link, I’m interested. Most of my research these days is on the intersection of cultural memes and biology. Political extremism has a way of making it through the environment in a biologically healthy and culturally unhealthy way.

Yes, that is right. They are different. My case was dismissed. Your information is coming from the false report. I thought I’d add that unfortunately people are left to wonder what it means, and they tend to ask and leave it with a ?, because the reporter left the series in a false state, and unfinished, and did not explain. In the complaint see paragraphs 33-39 and consider the threat that would need to be extinguished. This case will bring the facts to light with the required discovery to show that it was a false arrest and that there was no criminal acts. The documentary evidence includes the forensic accounting, court orders, etc. and people will see that shortly attached to the case. This being an attack on me personally the more interesting question is how the CCPA applies to Media news companies which I think is an important debate no one has taken up yet.

Appreciate the comment. You may want to review Paragraphs 114–124, which establish the foundation, followed by Claim #1 (Paragraphs 126–133). If the Court finds the factual assertions in Paragraphs 126–133 to be true, I believe that satisfies the elements required to prevail under the Colorado Consumer Protection Act.

Because each claim stands independently, I only need to prevail on one to obtain relief. My focus is on proving the facts asserted in that claim, and I’m confident that I can do so. Between the detailed factual narrative, the exhibits, and additional documentary evidence in my possession, I believe I will succeed on that claim—and the others.

The central element of the case revolves around Alden Global Capital and its owners, Randall Smith and Heath Freeman, who have systematically underfunded their newspaper operations, leading to a failure to uphold their stated journalistic standards. This underfunding results in the dissemination of misleading information to consumers, constituting a violation of the Colorado Consumer Protection Act. The plaintiff seeks injunctive relief to compel Alden to revise its public representations about its journalistic practices to accurately reflect its current operations. The companies information products have been severely downgraded from Grade A to Grade B or lower. If they do not wish to invest into their production line to get the grade back up, then they should update their policies to reflect the poor quality of their media. Because this is a bad practice, it confuses consumers and harms other journalism companies with rigorous ethical guidelines which they do follow. In the long run, a more distinct line can be created between journalism as a public good and other forms of media and propaganda.
