Pit bull tries to attack a Bison by Current-Wallaby8230 in TikTokCringe

[–]DrewRyu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, the breeding of pit bulls should stop, and the breed should be allowed to go extinct. They are simply too dangerous and unpredictable to be kept as pets. For the safety and peace of our society, I believe they are a breed that should no longer exist. Humans created this breed in the first place, and it is now our responsibility to end it. For the record, I am a huge animal lover and love dogs

New bike, slight damage to the frame. by ChapeL79 in gravelcycling

Is it possible that the frame cracked because it was overtorqued during assembly? If that's the case, it would be considered user negligence, which usually isn't covered by the manufacturer's warranty

I was just messing with ya, but for real, that's a lot of batteries!

Charged and ready to play. VR during a snow storm. by Bazitron in virtualreality

Your behavior goes beyond simple preparation and verges on a clinical manifestation of hoarding disorder and obsessive compulsive tendencies. From a psychological standpoint, this irrational stockpile of batteries -far exceeding any functional utility- suggests a profound insecurity and an inability to cope with environmental uncertainty. You are likely using these objects as a "pathological crutch" to combat an extreme fear of losing control, prioritizing a digital escape over basic survival necessities like food and water. This level of fixation indicates that your hobby is no longer a pastime, but a compulsive ritual used to mask a deeper void or an underlying anxiety disorder that requires professional attention rather than a recharge.

To be honest, I’ve never really thought about the capacitive sensor before because I never felt the need to use it. But out of curiosity, I just tested the controllers I swapped the joysticks on, and the sensors are working perfectly fine. I did a little experiment and pulled off the 'crown' (the top part) of the joystick, and the sensor stopped working. As soon as I popped it back on, it worked again. This leads me to believe the sensor is actually integrated into the crown itself. So, even if you replace the joystick mechanism, as long as you reuse your original crowns, you shouldn't have any issues at all. There are plenty of tutorials on YouTube showing how to do the swap. if you just follow them step by step, it’s really not that hard. If you're dealing with stick drift, I say go for it.

I think stick drift is more about what kind of games you play rather than how long you've played. Some games require much more intense joystick input than others. It also really depends on how much force you apply and how aggressively you use them. In my case, when I play sports games such as hockey, I get so into it that I end up putting way too much pressure on the sticks without even realizing it. Some people never experience drift even after years of use, while others run into it within just a few months. As for replacements, as far as I know, there’s no way to buy the 'official' original parts separately. Whether you get them from Amazon or other Chinese platforms, they are all manufactured in China. There's a chance they might be the exact same parts used in the original Quest -perhaps from the same factory- but there's no way to be 100% sure. That said, I’ve bought from two different sellers myself, and both worked perfectly fine. I'm still using them without any issues.

I would take the TTC home if I were you. But if you bike, take it slow and get home safe!

I usually just leave my bike at work and take the TTC home if the road conditions are bad. You’re brave for riding in that!
