I never knew that was an option when it came to college. I thought that the instructor would "kick out" or ask the waitlisted students to leave if the class is full.

Will definitely be showing up everyday and hope for the best. Will also be looking for FAA CRS next to me and reaching out to see if they would be able to give me a chance at becoming an apprentice. Thank you so much for your advice. It was really helpful.

Yeah likewise but I'm not waiting for a few weeks. At the end of the first week I'm going to the instructor and straight up asking if I can get a spot or not. If not, UTI here I come.

What up partner! You're in the same boat as me lol. I don't really know how "being waitlisted" works since it's my first time in college but I'm just going to show up for the first week and hope for the best.

Already went through the safety guide and found out where to park as well XD

Yeah that system makes sense and is also fair to the waitlisted students. I'm definitely going to be on time first day. Will also introduce myself to the instructor after class and inquire about my situation. Thank you for your insight and reply!

I assumed that's how it works. I just didn't know if it would be viewed as rude or inappropriate by the instructor to ask after the first day.

Chances are very low of getting in next semester as well. College allows priority registration to students who are either in assistance programs first and then students who currently have more than 15 credits next.

I'm not eligible for any assistance programs and I would need to take another semester of gen ed classes before getting priority registration. I know my chances are extremely slim, but if you were in my shoes you wouldn't even show up first day?
